This place is an absolute dump it really needs updating. As a business we work in Andover quite a lot and all the workers that have stayed there don’t rate it. It is safe to say that as a company we will not stay there again.

Booked the hotel to attend a wedding this coming August. Was really pleased with myself to have have all the transport from Yorkshire and accommodation booked well in advance. However Best Western appear to have other ideas, I received short email yesterday informing me the accommodation has been cancelled. No warning or explanation given. Given the booking is 5 months away, I find it unbelievable they are unable to honour the booking. I've tried to contact the hotel without any success, it would be nice to understand the reason behind this decision, but mainly to identify the supplier of the crystal ball they are using to see this far into the future.

We stayed for 2 nights and were amazed just how quiet it was, even on a Friday night. Did not see any more than 3 tables in use at breakfast and certainly did not hear people leaving early or ay noise during the night. The room was perfectly adequate and although we did not get housekeeping, reception supplied us with anything we needed. Breakfast was very filling and we were very impressed by the full English.

Booked the hotel last July direct with Best Western. Received a very curt email yesterday telling me that my booking for multiple rooms has been cancelled by them. It leaves us trying to find another hotel for 3 nights during a weekend that coincides with a large motor race meeting at nearby Thruxton so everywhere is either booked or mega expensive. The least they could have done was move us to the nearest alternate BW property!

Booked 3 months ago via ***********, for a family wedding in April. Received an email today telling me the booking has been cancelled, no explanation why. Have used Best Western extensively in USA and can't believe they have let us down like this. Certainly won't use them again anywhere in the world. Appalling service.

Booked this hotel through *********** some time ago as we are attending a wedding in the aea and to day I recieved an email telling me the hotel has cancelled my booking, no reason or apology given. All the other travell arrangements have been made and paid for and now I have to find accomodation at short notice and pay whatever it costs.

Might have been nice 30 years ago. Walls paper thin and a radiator outside room was making a terrible racket, impossible of staff or cleaners not to have noticed the terrible din. It was only due to absolute exhaustion that I goy any sleep. No food available in evening, not even at the bar for some snacks. Not been to a Best Western for over 20 years, used to have a good name.....I wont be going back to find out if it improves.

Loved the location and setting of the hotel. Very quiet area. Querky place but enjoyed my stay for 16 days very much. Being on night shifts away working 16 solid again easy to sleep during day time. Reception staff extremely helpful Anne and her son Ryan deserve special praise. Anne done some of the most amazing brekkies going in the land, no exaggeration stay in a lot of hotels with my job but her brekkies where top drawer stuff. Ryan controlled front of house, well mannered, helpful and always respectful and kept the breakfast area clean and full. Both Anne and Ryan big assets to that hotel and defo deserve a pay rise with their dedicated attitude and service to the establishment. Anne, really gonna miss your eggy bread. Amazing stuff that and with the brekki, kept me going on a long job. Thankyou Anne

I would of gave it 5/5 if the beds weren't so solid. apart from that the hotel was great, breakfast was absolutely amazing especially the cook Anne she can definitely do a good fry up, and then Ryan in the breakfast room was very polite to guests infact very good at his job. would definitely recommend this place but please update the mattress on the beds ASAP
