We’ve just returned from a 10 night stay with an 18 month baby. Overall, the hotel is lovely - very big with lots of pools and restaurants. We booked the suite with pool access which was invaluable with a little one. Positives: overall staff very friendly, food was great for an all inclusive (even the buffet), though we didn’t rate the South American a la carte. The cocktails at the main bar were great (the other bars were more pre-made but to be expected as pool bars). Right on the beach - shingle but we found this to be fine. Some of the staff were amazing (especially Rula at the Beach Bar). There is a nice kids area with a kids club and playground, we didn’t use the club but did use the playground. Never seemed to be a problem with people reserving sun beds on the whole. We needed to see a doctor one day and the reception staff went out of their way to help, we felt totally looked after in a stressful situation. They even arranged the collection of the prescription for us. Negatives: we found it hard to get bottles of water (you get 2 in your room when the restock the mini bar but with a baby we needed more) and the bars were funny about giving them out. While the food was good overall, there wasn’t much on offer for snacks, apart from the crepe restaurant and the hotdog stand near the beach. Ice creams weren’t advertised but I think you could ask for some. Big negative for us was the pool temperature - super cold! Too cold for our little one unfortunately, and it was the same in the kids area. We tried the indoor pool one day as it was heated but it wasn’t very clean so we didn’t use it again. Overall, wouldn’t quite call this a 5 star hotel, but that being said we had a lovely stay and elements of it felt more luxury. I wouldn’t say it’s the best for babies (although everyone was very baby friendly and accommodating). We went mid-October and the weather was 23/24 and sunny. Would defo recommend for a holiday in Crete!

We came here for our first holiday as family of 3. It’s really special for us and we’re looking forward to it for 5months. When we arrived to the hotel for our biggest surprised we were the only ones who left the bus and chosen to stay in this particular resort. It makes you worry, does not it? Anyway, we’ve checked in. I feel like it’s important to mentioned that when we booked we paid for upgrade. As we have 8 month old baby we needed easy access to pushchair etc. we paid for ground floor bungalow room with garden view. When we were led to the room we realised that there was awkwardly lots of steps to our room. We were not on the ground floor, garden view was awkward huge tree disguising everything you could try to see. We were looking forward to our room too as we were expecting it to be bigger and that our little one would have space to crawl around. Unfortunately, floor was incredibly dirty and our little one did not have chance to demonstrate his new skill (crawl) for the whole week. Well he did, in a coffee shop in town and airport lounge pre departure. Room was dated in general, but did not mind it too much as we were only sleeping there. Shame tho for little one he was getting frustrated not being able to crawl. Later on we just got lots of blankets and put it on the floor that he could wonder around a little. Food was decent. Repetitive but no faults there. Ladies in dinning room were very helpful and playful with our little one. Same as lady from spa centre. Thank you for your patience. It made our holiday. We did not go to see entertainment as our little one being scared by the clown, who was going around the pool trying to get people to come. In general it was pleasant. We did not really spend lots of time at the hotel as we were going for hikes etc. top pool was chill and baby slept very well throughout his nap times. During our last meal one of the staff put us off and only cause of him we would not come back. As mentioned above, we have 8month old baby. He has been having a little pasta, cucumber and some watermelon all week. And yes, he drops some of the floor and we always pick up majority of it before staff tells us leave it and that they would take care of it. During our dinner for the last time, managed to get one spoonful of food into my mouth when rude, middle aged waiter came to us and loudly started commenting and telling me to clean up baby’s watermelon from the floor. We always take care of it, as we worked in hospitality and know how it feels, but he’s action ruined my appetite. He was keep staring at our table and when my partner left the table to get some water, he was walking past us and pointing with his finger to his colleague. Tables next to us started to stare and some of them said sorry for having to experience that. To be fair, mainly for that reason we would be chowing different hotel for our upcoming holiday next year.
