Beetle House Coffee Hotel

Well never stayed my self at this hotel but my daughter and her two friends are out there now fly back tonight. She has been in tears on the phone every night as someone was trying to get in their room the chef nicked some ones bottle of drink and drunk it the staff are rude and they paid 280 pound extra to keep the room on and then still had to pay extra 50 pound. This is the first time she has been to turkey and has put her off. I have been to turkey lots of times and never had a problem. If I was treated like this I would have gone mental. When you are paying for your teeth to be done and the hotel, you deserve to be treated better. I would seriously think about booking this hotel. Sort your it out. If you want the business you will have to stop ripping people off .

We booked a room, we had to wait for the manager at the reception for half an hour. Before we checked in, we asked to see the room. The manager (we thought he was high) rudely refused to let us check in.

Great location , lots of places to go to around . 10 mins walk to the beach and an amazing corniche

Well we’ve just left and we’re not overly impressed. Good size room, friendly staff. Very noisy though, constant telephone In reception kept ringing which you can hear early morning and late at night, very annoying! Aircon didn’t work. Duvet on all the Beds are too small, they may suit one person but when you’re paying extra £20 a night you expect and duvet that would cover two people! There are lots of nicer hotels for the same or less money so look around, we were only there as UKSmiles put us there, dentist trea**ents are 100% so unsure why they don’t offer a nicer hotel. We had one meal which was ok but the whole place was full of smoke mainly from a woman sat in a rocking chair constantly smoking one after the other, I think she was the owner. They will catch you with the breakfast so be warned, they caught everyone I spoke to, it’s included but at the end they will charge you 480 lira which is £20 odd, you can’t have the English breakfast included despite all the guests been English, you can only have the Turkish breakfast included, you’re not told this so be careful, they will also charge you for orange juice! Room could be a lot better for not a lot of work. Fridge had an electric part hanging down and was very worn out. Bed uncomfortable but room was clean. Lots of cat’s around and rooms do smell of cat urine.

We stayed as a couple as this accommodation was booked for us by U.K. smiles. The rooms were clean and spacious - more like an apar**ent than a room which was great. The cleaners attended to our room daily. The room has plenty of plug sockets and mirrors which helped when getting ready and the wardrobes were spacious enough for both myself and my partner to put all of our clothes and shoes away. The hotel itself is only a few minutes walk to the beach which we did multiple times daily and there are lots of shops and supermarkets near by. We ate at the hotel for breakfast every morning and for most of our afternoon and evening meals it was that tasty and reasonably priced. We did stop off for food/drinks along the beach and at some of the other restaurants but found ourselves gravitating back to Beetle as the food was the nicest here. The smoothies are so good that we tried every flavour on the menu. Caramel Macchiatos were great too and I’ve definitely missed them since coming home. Some of our favourite meals were the Beetle omelette, Menemen (scrambled eggs with spices, tomatoes and onions), Quesadillas and of course the Lasagne which I think we had at least once a day it was that good. The cheese rolls were one of our favourite snacks and we loved that these came as part of the Turkish breakfast. The staff are so lovely and will go over and above to help you. Our food/drinks service was always with a smile and they truly do take their time to remember you. One day we needed a taxi to the old town and wanted to make sure of the price etc and a lovely lady who we believe was the manager called us a taxi to ensure it came quickly and advised us of how much to expect to pay. We should have asked her name but we appreciated her help so much. We truly weren’t expecting much given that this accommodation was provided for us as part of a package but it really did exceed our expectations. The lovely staff are what make this hotel and it was always nice to step through the doors to a friendly hello or smile. We highly recommend this place as a base if you are visiting Antalya and would definitely return ourselves in the future.

Bar and restaurant run separately from the hotel was great. Staff was polite, friendly and helpful. Food had good prices, big portions and was delicious, also drinks. Quick service. Kitchen still open late. Nice a**osphere. Live music. I cannot rate hotel as we visited just bar/restaurant.

Accommodation very clean and spacious and great location. However, I am very disappointed when I asked for clarification on pricing for one adult and two teenage children for an upcoming whole month stay (31days) , but no reply from manager. Another hotel manager at a nearby hotel took the time to show me what they can offer and offered a discount for the month stay and booked immediately. Disappointed at the lack communication and flexibility.

Check In was easy, staff at this hotel is good,helpful and polite. Overall the hotel is very nice, cheerful decoration with the VW theme which is cute. Safety in the hotel seems good BUT PLEASE ASK GUESTS TO RESPECT COVID RULES IN THE LIFT!!! There are some small things I want to improve in my room and I will ask hotel staff to help.Overall this seems like a pleasant, well maintained hotel, I can recommend it, I arrived yesterday and so far, so good.

First impression was okay, but it is not clean and also found a cockroach on my second night there & very hard uncomfortable beds. Breakfast was nor good or bad. Can't recommend.
