The hotel is an ancient building dating back to 1238. Now it has been converted into a hotel with greenery inside. The service is super. The room is a bit small because it is an ancient building. Inside is a simple design. The location is convenient and 15 minutes walk to the central train station. There are 5 restaurants including one Michelin star. You can try it

Fantastisch mooie ambiance, zeer vriendelijke staf, sfeervolle bar met zeer veel lekkers, luxe suite, veel verwennerij, prachtig ontbijt, betoverend mooi pand met kapel, erg fijn. Het is een pareltje gelegen in een verder matig mooi stuk van de stad maar je bent te voet in no time bij alle hotspots. Ga zeker bij de restaurants eten die bij het hotel zijn aangesloten (Hertog Jan ís ongeëvenaard) en check of je kamer mooi uitzicht heeft. Wij hadden echt een sublieme suite op droomplek in het gebouw maar hoorde dat er ook kamers zijn die wat donker zijn en/of slecht uitzicht hebben.

Wat een fantastisch verblijf. Alles was perfect in orde: kamers, eten, personeel, spa, ... een aanrader. Je krijgt waar voor je geld. Ontvangst met bubbels door een super vriendelijke mensen, ontbijt met bubbels en heel veel keuze, een gezellige bar. Ik kan niet 1 ding opnoemen dat niet in orde was. Ik hoop snel te kunnen teruggaan 🤩

Me and my fiancé where staying at Botanic Sanctuary for three nights for our mini honeymoon during mid February.
Upon our arrival to the hotel room I got an overall feeling that it wasn’t really cleaned thoroughly. A couple of minutes later I wanted to grab a cold drink from the mini bar, where I found a opened jar of baby food in it. I immediately called the reception, the receptionist said they where very sorry and would send staff to remove it as soon as possible.
The day after I saw that the baby food was still in the mini bar. I called once again to the reception and reminded them kindly to please throw away the baby food. The same night when I was fast asleep I was woke up by the reception, which called our room at 00.45 in the middle of the night, and when I picked up the phone, no one answered and hung up.
The morning after I asked the staff about the phone call, but they did not know anything about it and said it must be a mistake. Really strange.
Last but not least, on our very last night when I thought things can’t get worse…. The fire alarm went off in our room at 4AM. I called the reception to ask about the fire alarm, and got the answer that there has been some mistake and that we shouldn’t worry about it.
The morning after on our check-out I was sure they would compensate us in any way. We had a bill of around 900€ (mini bar, spa etc) but did not say sorry or compensate us in any way at all.
Such a disappoin**ent and will never return

Can’t imagine such a fantastic hotel and resort in city center. Regret not booking their Michelin star restaurants but not far from hotel you can find a Michelin recommendation restaurant Ciro which offers brilliant grilled ribeye steak

Personnel désagréable, en plus de sa chambre avec de la moquette, rideaux sales et miroir salle de bain sales! Prend de haut les clients, je me suis vite en aller de cette hôtel pour en prendre un autre moins chers et beaucoup mieux. Je ne le recommande pas, ne trouve pas de solutions pour une personne allergique au acariens
