We booked two rooms with the king sized bed, and happy with the room size and the room/bathroom design - modern & well organized. Hotel staffs are particularly warm and friendly. I called a few times before arrival asking information about the room and parking, all have been efficiently dealt with. The breakfast was a bit small than I expected for a 5 star hotel, but in all it was a lovely weekend that spent there! Had good memories of drinking champagne with my husband at the hotel bar :)

The Sapphire House Antwerp, Autograph Collection, boasts an excellent location. It's a 10-15 minute walk from the Central Station and just a 3-minute stroll to the city center's pedestrian and luxury shopping streets, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and getting around. The hotel is a converted old building, and I've always loved its design. This was my 'nth' stay here, but this time, the experience fell a little short.
The main issue was a sewage smell emanating from the bathroom. I suspect it's due to unresolved plumbing issues in the old building. I occasionally noticed a similar odor in the elevator area, which was a bit off-putting. Aside from that, the rest of the room was well-maintained, clean, and the bedding was comfortable.
If it's your first time in Antwerp, I would still recommend it for its location and design, but be prepared for potential odor issues that can sometimes come with older buildings. I hope the hotel addresses this problem in the future.

We loved our stay at the Sapphire House! The room was very clean, spacious and beautifully designed. We also loved the location as it is was centrally located in Antwerp, yet on a quiet street. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
