The sheets were as dirty as rags and the room facilities were old. I only stayed for one night and it was okay.

The hotel is located in Anuradhapura, with beautiful pagoda ruins visible across a large lake. The environment of the hotel is quite beautiful, and the swimming pool is also very good. The supply of buffet breakfast is not stable. We stayed for 4 nights in a row. Breakfast was buffet breakfast on two days and set meal on two days. The explanation given by the hotel was that the buffet breakfast was not open because the tour bus had left and there were too few people. Anyway, it’s quite interesting to have a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. Picture 1 is the set breakfast we had (the portions were huge), and Pictures 2 and 3 are the buffet breakfast.

In diesem Privathaus mit 2 Hotelzimmern ist man bestens aufgehoben. Das Gastgeberpaar und der Butler sind sehr angenehme, gebildete Gesprächspartner und geben gerne Informationen, Tipps und Erfahrungen weiter. Man fühlt sich sofort familiär aufgenommen und geht in der individuellen Architektur des Hauses auf. Dieses Haus ist ein Highlight bei unserem Aufenthalt. Sehr zu empfehlen.

I have visited this Hotel a couple of times and as usual it was such a peaceful and a quiet stay that I experienced this time too. The room was clean, and I enjoyed the delicious food, the hospitality and warmth of the friendly staff. A special mention must be made of the CEO, Mr Wijesinghe and also the Front Office, Housekeeping and Restaurant staff. The Hotel has a clean and lovely pool, which is never to be missed. The "Kiri pidu Danaya" can be ordered and it is so helpful. This offer of help to the pilgrims will bring merit and prosperity to the Hotel. The view with Ruwanweli Seya overlooking the Thisa Wewa is breathtaking. Early morning walks are so refreshing and peaceful. My stays in Anuradhapura will continue to be at the Heritage Hotel and nowhere else. Thank you Mr Wijesinghe for your assistance and great hospitality. I wish this Hotel the Blessings of the Triple Gem! Jay

Very nice location with attractive surroundings to see. Specially the staff was very friendly and available for anything that you wanted to make your stay comfortable. Need to mention Mr.Sumith who is CEO in the hotel is very friendly and seems doing his best to keep the things to guests make their stays memorable and comfortable.

The hotel is located in a beautiful place, just overlooking the lake of Thisa Wewa. Very nice scenery nobody won’t want to miss. It's also near the ancient city of Anuradhapura so convenient to visit all the cultural sites & stupas comfortably. The staff & their service are excellent, Buffets with a spread, desserts are mouthwatering, especially breakfast & dinner. The pool is clean & nice..we really enjoyed staying in that hotel with an extension of stay. I'll definitely recommend it to my friends with no hesitation.
