I arrived very late (1:30am), and they gave me a room that was basically right next to the lobby. The room was comfortable and clean. However, I was awakened in the middle of the night by a horrendous downpour, which was not their fault, but a good amount of water leaked into the room. Fortunately, none of my stuff was affected. Then I was awakened again around 6:00am by employees moving furniture around in the lobby. Then at 6:30 one of the female employees started playing loud music while she was working, and then she started loudly singing along with it! It was 6:30am on a Saturday! Hello, people are trying to sleep! There was no wifi, which was annoying. The free breakfast was good, but limited selection - toast, muffins, papaya, cereal, coffee. I would not stay there again.

This place could be great, as the location is super and the grounds have wonderful landscaping, but it has NO Wi-Fi as advertised. There were no clothes hangers, no water glasses (only a small plastic coffee cup), no black instant coffee, and I even had to ask for soap. The staff are nice. The restaurant is very slow with only mediocre food.

Restaurant/bar staff were amazing and were the highlight of our stay. The rooms are very old and worn which make it feel really dirty and in desperate need of attention. You can hear others in the rooms next to you so dont expect a good night's rest. Aircon was great though but I wouldn't stay here again.

You get what you pay for..... I was a solo traveller traveling to Samoa and didn't want anything fancy so decided to stay at Millenia for 7 night. Apon reflection I should have paid that little extra for a nicer room at the hotel but went for the Standard option. When checking in they welcomed me at 430am which was great, bag carried to my room and air-con on waiting for me. Room was somewhat clean but definitely needs a freshen up with some paint, new sheets and furniture. At night (Especially Saturday) the bar/restaurant downstairs turns into a nightclub with pumping music and alot of screaming people. Thankfully, I brought ear plug otherwise I wouldn't have slept at all. The pool is literally falling apart with tiles missing or floating on the bottom of the pool. Customer service was 50/50, some ladies were extremely helpful and some wouldn't know what service is. During my stay I asked for my room to be cleaned as nothing had been changed/done for 4 days since being here. I went out for the morning on a tour expecting my room to be cleaned however when returning at 2pm, nothing had been done. Decided to forget about it and have a lie down, I could hear fumbling at the door when opening it there was a staff member bring towel with no other cleaning products and she said "Ohhh your back". After telling her not to worry about cleaning my room today because I'm back and reating she then said "Can I come in and talk" after asking what she wanted to talk about and explaining I was resting she said she was bored, had nothing to do and she wanted to rest......Well not in my room your not. Would I stay here again....No, would I recommend this property.....No.

I don’t know where to start with Millenia. I know people say “you get what you pay for” but there is no excuse as to why there should be cockroaches, mould in the rooms and showers and bed bugs when we are paying 275.00 WST a night. An absolute rip off. Not to mention, when we got to our room, there was an overwhelming stench of urine coming from the bathroom. The pool water looks like it hasn’t been changed in years and smells horrendous. Staff are not friendly at all and customer service is lacking. I would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone. There are NO hygiene standards and I couldn’t wait to leave. I was so disappointed when I looked and saw other beautiful resorts we would have stayed at for a tiny bit extra than what we paid here. Please do not waste your money here. Absolutely disgusting.

No Wi-Fi, breakfast was so bad. I’m giving it 2 star because they allow us early check in.

Hotel just needs renovation but other than that, a decent place for a cheap price.

Struggling where to start, really. I have stayed in a lot of hotels. This one takes the cake for overall poorly run, priced, and service. We were allocated what we call the broom closet bcos it's right in front of the foyer, underneath the stairs and right next to the housekeeping room. This room was obviously part of the janitors closet divided by gyprock sheet. You can hear everything every time a staff member enters the room next door and starts banging on their equipment (early hrs). You can hear every person who walks around the foyer or sitting down having conversations. As you open the door BAM you can see the bed! The floor was flooded as you entered with the housekeeping staff, a lack of skills in cleaning the floor properly it's like they just poured a bucket of water!Kettle was provided with no cups or spoons. The bathroom was brand new with no shelf to store your toiletries in and out of the shower, not even a hook! Cheap TV that you can not understand a word as the sound system ******. Went out to check out the pool - erk! Floating hairs and other unknown objects looked like they hadn't been cleaned for a while. Went to eat at their restaurant/bar. Nothing was available that was on the menu! To top it off, the staff - yes, the staff are constantly lounging around and chatting away in the foyer, the public space for guess. OK, I get it. we are in the islands, but seriously, there is a place for them to lounge, not in front of the guess. First experience for me as most hotels you don't see staff doing this! At the end of the day, the price you pay at this hotel does not, I repeat, DOESN'T justify it. You can not even get a friendly greeting! Ps. We were told there were no other rooms available for us to move!
