We stayed at Ararat Colonial for two nights. The location is excellent between the main street, supermarket and fast food. The check-in was speedy and friendly. The rooms are spacious with good facilities.

Traveled to Ararat for one night only to attend the J-ward ghost tour with friends and Partners 3 rooms booked separately, spacious room, queen bed, sofa, bathroom. Only negative feedback is that information book provided in the room said room service for breakfast can be ordered but staff on arrival said they don’t provide that service. No snack foods in the mini fridge, mattress was rock hard and thin bedding, only shower products provided was an all in one soap, I love a motel that has the soaps, shampoos and conditioners feels gifting, or the chocolate on the pillow on arrival. Wifi connection very handy and smart tv with Netflix you just need your own account. Returning for Aradale tour and will return but hopefully they will amend the breakfast service that would be perfect.

It’s very central in Ararat , walking distance to restaurants and takeaways. It’s only a short drive if you are planning on doing The Aradale tours , the Jail or any of the other historic sites

We stayed at 4 different motels over our week trip away and this one far exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend! From the start they were very accomodating with us calling quite late as our plans changed and we needed to find a motel at the last minute. Everything was ready for us on arrival, especially the lovely hot shower we needed. I wish we could have stayed longer than one night. Very clean, well presented, comfortable. Conveniently positioned in the town. The staff were very friendly.
