"We had a wonderful stay with our family at Pomonal Estate Villa, staying in the Mt Cassell Villa. The place was clean, beautiful, and spacious — perfect for our group, with plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 kids to spread out and relax. The location is fantastic, being close to the Grampians, making it an ideal base for exploring the national park while still enjoying a peaceful, quiet retreat at the end of the day. The villa was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the surrounding views were stunning. Communication with the host was smooth and easy throughout our stay. We'd happily come back and definitely will try the dining at Iris next visit."

"A great place to stop on the way from Adelaide to Melbourne. Worried I wouldn't be able to check in before 6 PM, I called to inquire about self-service check-in. I was told it was available until 8 PM. Upon arrival, a foreign lady checked me in, but judging by the Maitreya Buddha and Maneki Neko decorations at the front desk, I assumed the owner was Chinese. The next day, when checking out, my daughter encountered a charming Chinese lady who even gave her candy from the Christmas tree. The hotel was clean, but one small suggestion: the pillows were too high, making sleeping very tiring. A set of loft pillows would have been perfect."

"We stayed 2 nights while my elderly father had surgery at the Ararat Hospital a few minutes drive away. Very clean, convenient location, everything we needed in our cabin. Comfortable beds and lots of hot water in the shower. Located a few minutes drive from hospital, supermarket or town center Friendly very helpful owners, Train line and highway were visible from our unit and we heard every train, but it was interesting and enjoyable to see them all. A must stay spot for the young (or old) train spotter. My parents concluded they could live in the unit permanently!"

"Rare to get this kind of opportunity to stay at a working pastoral station with roots back to the earliest colonisation of these parts by European settlers . Mt William Station would be an incredible venue for any private function such as weddings but, when not booked out it's open to couples or groups with a range of accommodation styles. We had a great weekend staying at the main house and its a privilege to get to sense the history that exudes from every pore of this place. It still feels more like staying at a family home than at a hotel and a tour by Will, The Homestead's current owner and custodian was a highlight, for sure. A truly wonderful weekend escape, great food from the in-house chef accompanied by a wine list of some of the great local offerings."

"What a great place to stay. The owners couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was comfortable. Having enclosures, around your vehicle, for pets is the greatest idea we have seen at a caravan park. It gives you so much more freedom in regards to your pet. The camp kitchen is well set up with features most dont have. Bath mats provided for when you get out of the shower! It's the little things that count and they have heaps here. We will definitely be back. Cheers"

"Right next to the highway, so if you fall asleep to the sound of trucks flying by, this is the spot. Heard trucks still past midnight, and the first one woke me up at 5am, shocking. Staff were friendly and the place was clean at least. The room & bathroom were tiny and mine still didn't have this updated look (pictured in 2016!), so old brown decor."
