Elivi Skiathos

We enjoyed this place so much that we have already rebooked. From the moment we arrived until we left everything was fabulous. 4 different beaches to choose from with food and drink service. Towels are given at the beaches so no need to carry one around. There are actually more beds than guests on most of the beaches and around the pool areas Breakfast at the main building was a bit hit and miss as we had to practically trip the staff up for a second coffee. Nobody seemed to be in charge. Breakfast at The Nest was different class and we were made so welcome by Manu and Dora. There is a great selection of eggs , fried, scrambled, poached, soft or hard boiled. Omelettes are cooked fresh for you. There are juices and smoothies with a great selection of milk. The fruit was fresh and tasty with good variety of breads salads cheeses smoked salmon and meats. Pancakes and waffles too Golf buggy’s driven by Eddie, George, Claudio and George are always available to take you around as there are lots of steep hills. There is a stair lift to one of the beaches. Big Banana beach was our favourite hosted by two beautiful swans We stayed in a supreme deluxe sea-facing Grace room which was spacious but could do with a little more shelf space The housekeeping was super efficient. Coffee pods were replaced daily and fresh bottles of water were put in the room daily. The spa looked lovely and there is a small indoor pool with a sauna and steam room There is also a small gym. I liked the morning classes at the outdoor gym. Pilates, stretch and flow, circuits. All great instructions and you need to book. We ate a The Nest fish restuarant which had sea views The drinks were excellent. Christos kept the bar running really well. The guest relations were always on hand, thank you Katerina. Reception staff were super friendly. In fact everybody on the whole Island was delightful. Even at the airport

Truly a dreamy resort with every room overlooking a stunning view.the Elivi has three of the very best restaurants on Skiathos and encompasses four of the top beaches. The hotel is expansive (given the number of rooms) but does not give the impression of a supersized resort. The folks at the front desk will get to know you by name as will the golf cart drivers who ferry you from your room to the beach. We’ll have to come back only because we didn’t have time to eat at every restaurant and explore every beach available at the resort!

Everything here makes you feel relaxing in luxury. Excellent place, service. The people are very friendly, the hotel is in the best beach of the island. We have already booked our next visit here! The rooms are very spacious and clean. Great breakfast.

Just back from 10 nights at the Elivi and it has to be the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at in Greece,had a Grace supreme room and it was brilliant,huge light airy room with a sea view to die for,the hotel is spotless and worth going to just for the beach sun beds! Lots of nice restaurants nearby and your always guaranteed a seat on the bus if you go into town,will definitely return.

What a lovely hotel, from picking us up from the airport with our amazing dodoris driver to leaving everything was perfect Clean, with very good facilities, great room and excellent staff. Tips: The beach and the sea fantastic, direct access after breakfast

Very nice resort. High quality services and many beaches available. We stood always at little banana beach. Nice beach with many services for the Elivi custumers. A particolar mention for the Black Bird bar at Little Banana Beach and fot Kostas very kind and professional. His 5 o'clock pm tonic and gin made our evening a dream to remember.

Prior to booking the Elivi this year, the reviews I read made me feel very apprehensive, to the point I actually wrote to the hotel to ask them to give me some confidence in booking, given the very up and down reviews. They replied fairly promptly with the information that "a lot of the issues have been resolved over the winter months". Firstly, this review is solely based on the Nest area, we didn't venture into the Grace (?) area at all. What I will say immediately, is ignore all the awful reviews if they are based in the Nest area - if they've given anything less than 3 stars it's because they've been incredibly unlucky. I just can't imagine anything would be bad enough to warrant anything less than 3 stars. Several times I've seen people handling situations with hotel staff, shouting at them, demanding they have an upgrade, etc. you just don't get anywhere being like that, in my experience it's much better to be calm and ask nicely. Nobody at this hotel (and I'm fairly sure we spoke to everyone, including the manager at the end) has any kind of attitude, they're all very helpful and friendly. We booked a Nest Junior Suite with private pool and when we arrived, we were given room 1826. I asked the receptionist if it was a sea view and she said it was a partial sea view but a lovely view of the gardens. It was no good for us for a few reasons. Firstly and by far most importantly, the edge of the villa was a only few feet from a road that had relatively frequent golf buggies flying up and down it and our little one could have easily wandered through the loose hedging. Secondly, you had to manoeuvre yourself into just the right position in order to see an inch of sea and thirdly, it was tucked right at the back and had a rock face to its left. The room was nice enough, I just thought that given we were early season (first or second week I think) and it was not full, we could find a better position. A quick call to reception explaining the situation resulted in a much much better room, 1806, right in the middle of the olive grove that is the Nest. No sea view as such but it just felt much nicer, the gardens are lovely and not preened to the point where no nature is interested in visiting, every morning we saw a big hare hopping about which was lovely. I've stayed in all sorts of resorts all over the world, 5 star luxury in the Maldives to 2 star accommodation in Corfu and these rooms may exhibit the amenities required to attract the 5 star rating (even though Jet2 rate it 4+), but they certainly aren't 5 star luxurious. You have all the usual things, bath robes, slippers, toiletries, L'Or coffee machine (with daily refilled decaf and non-decaf capsules), air con, LG TV, etc. etc. But things look a tad tired in places. Certainly not enough that it would put you off and in fact it made it feel less clinical than some brand new ultra luxurious places do. Excellent hotel - one of a kind. Rooms were very comfortable and well-equipped. Service was outstanding - from the breakfast aervice to the restaurants, and the wonderful transport around the hotel supervised by George, the master groom!!

Absolutely stunning hotel and resort, beautiful views, beaches and overall location. The staff are exceptional, friendly and professional, they genuinely go over and above and are a credit to the hotel. Golf buggies are available to run you around as the complex is huge. Restaurants and food are superb. I highly recommend the Nest restaurant but they are all good. Kid friendly but suitable for couples also. What a place, one of my favourite places, we will be back.
