"This is a fantastic hotel, with very large suite like rooms. The staff were universally good, with Nino the barman being the stand out member. He looked after us very well and was a warm and engaging personality. The only criticism would be that the mattress on the bed was a bit tired and needed replacing and the bar was very quiet in the evenings."

We keep coming back here specifically because of the outstanding professionalism and the warm, welcoming attitude of the entire staff. Mandraki Village Boutique Hotel

"The hotel was really lovely, a small boutique hotel in lovely gardens, The rooms were large and had everything you needed for a relaxing stay. Breakfast was excellent and lots to choose from. The staff were great, very helpful and friendly. Stand out was Miranda who greeted you every day with a smile. The staff were very cheery until day 7 of our 9 night stay, don't know what happened but us and other guests noticed a change with them on day 7, suddenly although friendly were much more subdued and feel that something happened to them which was a shame. Lunch was great but have to say the one evening meal we had wasn't good, i ordered veal with mash, the veal fatty and the mash like water and when asked how was your meal didn't do much about it, gave me a glass of cheap house wine . Highly recommend this hotel but the reason we wouldn't go back is the area isn't a village, just a long busy road with tavernas by the roadside Buses into town were frequent and very busy, Halkadiki town fabulous"

"desperate to get away from the place from hell (Agnadi studio apartments) we stumbled upon this hotel,went in asked about vacancy was met by Kostas one of the brothers then our holiday began , when we went there nothing was too much for the family,all we wanted was peace of mind and service clean rooms this was for us.Other people there made us welcome many have been coming for 20 yrs and gave us good advice ,this is not a party hotel plain simple traditional follow the rules treat staff with respect they deserve and you will get it back mini bus service brilliant room was cleaned every day sheets and towel change regular food was traditional was pleasure to eat there several times,the family all ways around if you needed anything. on second day we were in town and the father recognised us and insisted on paying for our drinks in the harbour. we are already looking at going back ,they don,t work through tour operators so we will go independently. what you see is what you get which in our case was Paradise"

"The room was barely livable, the bathroom was unsightly with encrusted faucets and a drain smell. There was no window in the room, just a few slits at the top. The only positive was the shuttle service from the airport."

"Avoid this place. The owner is abusive and mean. No care or customer service. Bizarre given this is what running a hotel is about. There are about 20 stray cats in the garden and hotel at any one time. If you are allergic like my husband this is seriously a worry. Personally I don’t go on holiday to share the area with flea ridden stray cats."

"My mum and I stayed here for four nights. The staff were so friendly, especially Theodore (the new manager) he honestly couldn’t have been more welcoming, helpful and friendly. He would do anything to help us - call us taxis, advise the best times to see things and the nicest restaurants to eat at. We felt really looked after throughout our stay and never have we felt so welcomed in a hotel. The breakfast was lovely and fresh, a continental breakfast with lots of choice and lovely eggs and omelettes too. The room was nice, spacious and clean, with a balcony over-looking the pool. The only thing is we didn’t have many coat hangers or hooks but this is something that could be easily added! Beds were comfy and the hotel was generally so quiet and relaxing. The view from the balcony where you can eat your breakfast is beautiful. Ideal spot to see planes taking off too! A 20 mins walk to the Old/New Town or 5 minute taxi ride made it ideal for venturing out day and night. Buses were easy to catch to lots of nearby beaches. The price was so good - it’s not luxury but such great value for money. We definately recommend booking here!"

Magic Hotel

"I came here with my 16 year old daughter, it was our first time in Skiathos. This hotel is just perfect - very friendly staff (including reception ladies, restaurant and pool bar staff, the cleaners, etc.). Lovely rooms (cleaned daily) with Greek charm and beautiful views. Please be prepared to walk up quite allot of steps (but it's worth it for the views). Location is great, 5 minute walk to beautiful beach and plenty of restaurants close by. Most of the restaurants are by the main road so a bit of traffic noise but there a few off the main road, we really liked Kipos taverna and also enjoyed the Greek night at Vesuvio with fire and smashing plates (on every Sunday). The food was great everywhere we went. The bus stop (16) is a few steps from the hotel and so a well stocked mini-market. We also walked to the Crazy Rooster (booking required) for a Greek night (every Monday), which is allot of fun, it includes dinner, performance, party and people jumping in the pool. We went to Skiathos town several times, which is so picturesque, full of narrow atmospheric streets and alleys and amazing views. We visited some of the beaches - a pair of sunbeds cost on average 30 euros and quite often require prior booking. Our favourite beach was probably Troulos (bus stop 20), sunbeds at Maya's Beach Bar. We also liked Kolios (15 minute walk from the hotel) - at the Beach House. Kokounaries beach wasn't really our vibe. We will definitely be returning. Thank you Magic hotel 🥰"
