다행이 객실 하나가 남아있다고 해서 즉석 결제후 하룻밤 묵긴 했지만..

Lacroix suite was lovely - they are on lower level in a quiter scenic part of the hotel. Breakfast excellent. Staff excellent. Restaurant very good. Location excellent. A lovely stay. Good valet parking and help with luggage. Lift for diasbled guests to leave hotel failed to work repeatedly - installing a ramp to access hotel would be good. Lovely time, would stay again. A good 5 star hotel.

Avis-Jules César: Séjour catastrophique. 1/Déjeuner sur la terrasse avec sous la table et sous les chaises des énormes fientes séchées: vision écœurante surtout quand on déjeune. 2/Arrivée à 13h30 et chambre disponible à 15h: normal. Ce qui l’est moins c’est qu’après un tour de ville, retour à l’hôtel à 18h et stupéfaction de constater que nos bagages n’étaient pas dans la chambre mais qu’en plus ils étaient restés dans la voiture et que la voiture avait été garée dans un parking public éloigné! Il a fallu attendre près d’1 heure pour qu’on nous les apporte vers 19h!!! 3/La réceptionniste débordée par l’afflux de clients incapable de demander 10 secondes à son interlocuteur téléphonique pour donner la clé d’une chambre. 4/Apéritif en terrasse: 30 minutes d’attente pour passer la commande. 5/Diner au restaurant: qualité convenable mais prix excessifs. 6/Dans la suite ou prétendue telle: aménagement minimal, débit de la baignoire très insuffisant (1/2h pour obtenir 20cm d’eau) et lumière du jour dès le lever du soleil car les rideaux sont totalement inefficaces. 7/Petit-déjeuner catastrophique car yaourts, œufs brouillés, fromage blanc, etc… sans cesse en rupture d’approvisionnement. Bref un séjour à oublier malgré la gentillesse notable du personnel complètement débordé par manque d’effectifs.

O hotel está localizado no centro de Arles, mesmo ao lado da praça do município. Embora não tenha estacionamento nas instalações, oferece estacionamento com manobrista numa localização próxima, a um preço razoável. O edifício era um antigo mosteiro e no caminho para o nosso quarto passávamos pelo claustro do antigo mosteiro. O quarto era enorme, e a casa de banho também, com banheira e cabine de duche. O pequeno-almoço oferecia variedade e qualidade, incluindo ovos preparados na hora.

Le plus : la situation géographique au centre d'ARLES. Bon accueil. Hotel très vieillot, mauvaise insonorisation, portes qui claquent en permanence, chambre 300 petite, pas de bouteille d'eau fournie (mais un sachet de riz de Camargues...). Baignoire assez haute, prévoir une marche et surtout une poignée pour y entrer et en sortir. Petite salle de bain surannée, aucune place pour ranger ses affaires de toilettes. Paroi de douche à réparer car inutile, on innonde le sol, et abattant de WC à revisser. Literie confortable. Parties communes (salon, bar, restaurant) magnifiques. Très bon repas (2 soirs de suite) mais service pas au niveau (le premier soir 20 mn d'attente avant d'apercevoir un serveur pour demander la note, tout le monde avait disparu..., et le deuxième soir notre réservaton n'était pas enregistrée au niveau du restaurant et pourtant effectuée lors de la réservation de la chambre et confirmée à l'accueil lors de notre arrivée ???).)
