Stayed for 4 nights to do some hiking in the area and had a wonderful stay. Room was simple but cozy and very comfortable, with a nice view of the loch. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hot tub wasn't working when I was there, but they also have a sauna which was so nice to have to relax after a long day of hiking.

Don't understand the negativity, staff was extremely polite and the amenities were as you'd hope. The corridor inside the place was a bit like a maze and my girlfriend had to pass two obese Americans there. Other than that I'd highly recommend this hotel for any hikers.

Stayed for two nights on our way further north. Room was nice with an adequate if cosy bathroom. We had a nice view of the loch and were fortunate enough to have door to the outside. Ate in the restaurant the first night, the main course was very tasty but not very filling for me but the dessert was not so good. Cheesecake should not have a soggy bottom. breakfast was ok but we stuck with the cheaper continental variety. the hotel is ideally placed to explore the west bank of Loch Lomond being only two minuets away by car and is a lot cheaper than hotels nearer the loch. the local pub the Ben Arthur Bothy is well worth checking out good prices, friendly staff and great food.

Stayed at the hotel last Saturday for 90s night. Fantastic crowd of people and amazing performers! Very friendly staff within the hotel, amanda the receptionist is very friendly , housekeeping manager helped us throughout our stay. The room was an OK size, bed was very comfortable. Very clean and tidy. Unfortunately the down fall from the stay was at dinner time. The food was tasteless and and the chicken look a little on the pink side! The service seemed a little rush from starter to main course. The man in the resturant with the long hair seemed to not like what I said , I wasn't wanting anything else was just to let them know. Would also like to mention poor hygiene, my with with was completely put off her food with the smell from the gentleman mouth. But overall great night. Hope to return for my mother's 80th. .

The hotel itself was good value for money, rooms very clean, staff were very friendly and welcoming and the live music was great, The bad point is the food, evening meal was average and breakfast was terrible there was no colour in the bacon or sausage and my egg came out cold and nearly raw

Great hotel Staff very very helpful nothing was to much for them Room was very fresh and comfortable and bathroom was immaculate We only stayed one night but we will definitely be back in the near future First class breakfast everything was served hot and tasted delicious also a selection of continental Evening entertainment was an added bonus really enjoyed it I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area

I stayed here for 1 night (16/4/2024) while bicycle touring. All the staff were very professional and friendly. The facilities , room and food were good. I will stay again if I am in the area. The location offers excellent opportunities to tour the area.

We were gifted a stay by a family member, we checked in and checked out 15 minutes later. The room smelled like an old folks home and well I think the photos speak for themselves. We paid for the loch view upgrade and the member of staff at the desk said they couldn’t refund us but would pass it on to a manager, we never did get the money back. The area surrounding the hotel is stunning but I would pick a different hotel. Cant comment on the food or anything else as we never stayed long enough. Sad because I was really looking forward to the break.
