Arrowtown Hotels with Wi-Fi

A great little hotel in the centre of a lovely town. The room was a little dated but served us well for our stay. Tea and coffee-making facilities were great. The restaurant was unfortunately closed but managed to check in smoothly with just a quick phonecall. The appearance of the outside of the rooms is not too appealing and could do with a spruce up however, we had a great nights sleep and would definitely return.

This golf resort is a place to relax and enjoy a picturesque and beautiful plan and environment. You can walk to Arrowtown for sightseeing and dining. There are many hiking trails nearby. There are lawn stream ducks at the door of the house. Stayed for three days The two nights were not boring at all, and there were free shuttle buses to Arrowtown and Queenstown, which was very good.

The rooms are immaculately clean, the place very quiet and gives you easy access to all Queenstown and surrounds has to offer. I would make a point of it to stay here if I ever get down to the South Island again. The owners can rightly be proud of their establishment.

We had a very nice, comfortable stay here. The room was extremely spacious, the bed was comfortable and the shower/bath very nice. The view of the fall foliage out the big picture window was really nice and it felt very private. The kitchen was well stocked. It's only a 5 min walk along a path through the trees and Chinese settlement area to get to town, so very convenient. We ate twice at The Fork and Tap and really liked the food and outdoor seating area (no reservations, you order at the bar and find a seat). Better by Bike is also close by for bike rentals (the Queenstown Trail/River Trail/Gibbston Trail is beautiful!). It was an easy short drive to the airport. We would definitely recommend staying here!

A fabulous start to our New Zealand vacation. Full of character and very large room which even included a washing machine and tumble dryer! We were made most welcome right from the start, and the breakfast is of the highest quality. Arrowtown is much quieter and more relaxed than nearby Queenstown and that suited us perfectly. If you are looking for a place to stay that has all the advantages of being located near to Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu but offers quiet comfort, then you can’t do any better than stay here.

We keep returning to Shades of Arrowtown because it is just perfect for our needs. The cottage ( no. 10) was spacious, comfy couch, a place to hang clothes, a comfy king sized bed and the ensuite had a spa bath. 2 days after it snowed, we sat outside on the deck to enjoy the spring sunshine and then moved into the shade when it got too warm. Shades of Arrowtown is so well positioned, it makes walking to all the cafes and restaurants so easy. Brenda is an absolute sweetie. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
