Best Hotels in Oranjestad, Aruba

We stayed in the adults-only part of the resort. We found this part of the hotel to be a bit soulless but there was nothing wrong with it - probably more us than them! The drinks in the all-inclusive were a bit 'meh' but the food was very good - especially the steakhouse. We originally had an outside marina view room but had to ask to move as it was very noisy from the road and the bars on the marina. The real gem of this hotel is the private island - it is beyond relaxing! Getting on the boat each day is novel and as soon as you set foot on the island you can feel the relaxation wash over you! We hired a cabana for one of the days which was fun - was it worth the cost - no but we are glad we did it. All in all a nice hotel but we would probably not go back.

We received exceptional service at TOTT and truly appreciate the front desk, dining, and housekeeping staff that worked particularly hard to ensure our restful and enjoyable experience. From the time we arrived, we received warm and welcoming exchanges from the staff who provided recommendations to local venues, assisted with excursion reservations, provided shopping suggestions, exit testing tips, etc. The dining and kitchen staff kept the dining area neat, ensured the availability of proper safety equipment, enforced the use of personal protection equipment including masks when approaching the foods, and rotated the food often in moderate increments so we could safely partake in the breakfast buffet without worrying about contamination. Finally, the housekeeping staff left a profound impression by locating valuable items we incidentally left in the room when we departed. They along with the front desk personnel and management helped us reclaim personal items, and we are forever grateful to them. TOTT has become a favorite destination spot for my family and I, and we appreciate the inviting environment and dedicated staff that work to make the hotel feel like a home away from home. TOTT made our retreat a vacation!

This is the friendliest and happy place on earth. The entire staff is accommodating as soon as you enter the resort. We love seeing Leabitt Reynoso at the palapa hut. His great personality along with others is the reason I will return to the Holiday Inn several times a year. We love this resort!

Very nice place that I would return to but the water supply to the shower in our room stopped for over 24 hours. We asked for a new place to take a shower and the response was far too slow to allow for showering prior to leaving for the airport. Not pleasant after swimming in the ocean the day before. No offer of any sort to make up for the issue. The location was very good. If it weren't for the poor service, I would give the hotel a 4.5 / 5.0.

Courtyard by Marriott Aruba saved our trip! My boyfriend John and I just came home from 5 days (Aug 2022) in Aruba and we had an absolutely fantastic time! This wonderful hotel is a big reason why. We had reserved a different hotel weeks in advance of our trip and were looking forward to staying there. However, when we checked in we were less than satisfied (putting it mildly) and we quickly decided to try to find accommodations elsewhere. After trying a few places that were booked, we discovered the Courtyard by Marriott! We loved the beautiful and open outdoor check in area overlooking the huge, and lovely courtyard with bar and pool! We were feeling a little desperate at that point, and they were extremely helpful and were able to book us a room for a great price on the spot! The room was huge, and so beautiful with a great view of the pool. We were thrilled! We went back to the place we had initially reserved and politely requested our deposit back. We'd like to give a special shoutout to Tim, who helped us reserve our room, and Yolanda at the Allegra restaurant for her great energy and spirit. We will definitely be back! This was truly the perfect home base for what turned out to be a wonderful visit to One Happy Island, despite the somewhat rocky start.
