Arugam bay and Panama is one of the most scenic areas in Sri Lanka. We recently stayed in the Blue Wave hotel and received great hospitality. The rooms are clean and the food was good, staff was very friendly and helpful. This is the only structured hotel in the Arugam bay area, only downside is that it is located in the land side and not on the seafront. We enjoyed our stay and would be back.

Great location. Very clean room’s comfortable bed . Excellence service very hospitable staff polite helpful & friendly. Superb food prawns were well cleaned & deliciously cooked. . Would come back when opportunity arise again . Enjoyed our stay here.

A great place to spend your vacation freely. Also many places can be reached quickly from here. Even the food and drinks are worth the money. There is a very friendly staff here. They are very good. They served us delicious food. Nice places and staff in there.

Excellent service, tasty food. Highly recommend to stay. All staff members are very friendly and willing go extra mile to satisfy the clients. Located in close proximity to beach and restaurants. Easy to visit attractions in Pothuvi and Panama

We stayed 2 nights in Blue Waves with our family .The reservation was handled so efficiently . Piumi was prompt in her replies and always helpful in answering all our questions .The day of Check in was handled with professionalism. Ushan was very informative and helpful during our entire stay . The food was delicious- Sri Lankan food was excellent . Staff were excellent . Only drawback is during this period there are mosquitos so strongly advise to bring mosquito spray and patches. Overall i will recommend Blue Waves . Located in a peaceful, serene location . We had a lovely time. Individual chalets made it a private hideaway to enjoy with family .

Since our last stay in 2022, nothing has changed. Room & Linen look tired. Shower pressure needs plumbing upgrade. Food was average. Location is a plus. Walking distance to the beach. Reasonable stay for the money paid.

The hotel was the best hotel at arugam bay! The room was clean, hot water, ac and clean towels every day. The staff was really nice and helped us through our stay. There is a nice swimming pool at the hotel. A very good experience!

The hotel is really good! It is comfortable and has a fridge and hot water and the employees are very kind. We had a pleasant experience. We would be happy to extend the experience in a few more days because we are satisfied.
