Aside from a couple of issues Kelly, Caitlin and Marta meant this trip surpassed our expectations. From booking to departure nothing was too much trouble. With two young babies this makes all the difference. Spacious room, two cots, kids eat free, convenient parking. Location suited us with trips planned to Leeds castle and Port Lympne. Staff friendliness was great from all but especially Caitlin who was always on hand at dining times and helped with our girls. On site playground old but handy. Only minor issues were the early maintenance work / noise on our first morning, room servicing on first day and some confusion about late check out. All in all, highly recommend!

Took 15 mins to get to the tunnel the morning after staying here. Less than £90 for a twin double with friendly staff and a refurbed room. Only grumble was loud group in the bar could be heard pretty clearly from my room on first floor. Resolved that with a pair of ear phones. Does the job for a one night stop over.

As always staff and service excellent, however we had poor WiFi reception in our room this time but there was renovation works being carried out on other floors which may have effected the signal.. Cooked breakfast is always tasty and well served! Overall we enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon :)

Accommodating and pleasant friendly staff. Comfortable and clean room. Good dining options plus varied and freshly cooked breakfast. Situated close enough to Ashford and access to the M20 and in a rural quite setting. Will definitely stay again when next in the area.

I can not praise this venue more highly. Jess helped my dad and I organise a wake for my mother. She was superb and made a difficult process much easier. The event itself was so well organised by her and the team. The staff were super friendly, the events room perfect, the catering exceptional and so much food. It was a lovely touch at the end when they placed doggy bags out for guests to take food with them. This is a fabulous venue with fabulous staff.

We've not been overly impressed with any of the IHG brands we've stayed with since the pandemic, but this hotel was up to pre-Covid standards, and very good value for money. We stayed for one night -- the room was quiet, the bed was comfortable and although the breakfast was unexciting, it was more than adequate. The bathroom seemed old-fashioned, but the water pressure was good and the towels were large. Earlier this year we stayed at the Crowne Plaza at Place de Republic in Paris and this was such a better experience on so many levels. All the staff were SO friendly. Our room was on the first floor with a short flight of stairs and the woman tending the bar insisted on carrying our bags to our rooms. I can't remember the last time that happened -- even at much more expensive hotels. In the morning there weren't any scrambled eggs and the woman looked after the buffet said it wasn't a problem and got some cooked for me. The only downside is that the hotel is very isolated -- the neighbouring pub is closed. That wasn't a problem for us as we had eaten with friends before checking in and were only staying for one night, but if you want any nightlife you will have to drive.
