Holiday Inn Ashford Central, an IHG Hotel
"We were told when we arrived that this hotel was no longer operating as a Holiday Inn and was not accepting guests. IHG did, however, accept the reservation and confirm the booking."
The Five Bells Inn
Hampton by Hilton Ashford International
"The hotel is Excellent! But the staff are not very friendly"
Ashford International Hotel & Spa
"A great find. The Rooms, the food and staff were excellent. Great for pets. Close to the shuttle port. We will stay here again. Only point I could make is that they need a better area for breakfast when travelling with a dog. The low tables with settees are not ideal for eating from."
Travelodge Ashford Town Centre
"Good hotel, room a little outdated but very spacious. Good location for a visit to central Milton Keynes"
Premier Inn Ashford (Eureka Leisure Park)
"Not very appealing on the outside, first impressions do no justice to the hotel, which looks very run down on arrival. Reception staff very pleasant and helpful. Rooms clean and air conditioned. Bed was very comfortable and rooms were quiet. Placed in a good location for places to eat close by and for the motorway."
Holiday Inn ASHFORD - NORTH A20 by IHG
"Aside from a couple of issues Kelly, Caitlin and Marta meant this trip surpassed our expectations. From booking to departure nothing was too much trouble. With two young babies this makes all the difference. Spacious room, two cots, kids eat free, convenient parking. Location suited us with trips planned to Leeds castle and Port Lympne. Staff friendliness was great from all but especially Caitlin who was always on hand at dining times and helped with our girls. On site playground old but handy. Only minor issues were the early maintenance work / noise on our first morning, room servicing on first day and some confusion about late check out. All in all, highly recommend!"
Premier Inn Ashford Central
"Three of us arrived at this hotel at approximately 8.15pm after a 6 hour drive. We had been heavily delayed en route and were desperate for a meal once we finally got to the hotel. Whilst en route we checked the hotel’s website to make sure we would be there in time to order food. Last food orders were quoted at 9.00pm, so we were in plenty of time (or so we thought). Upon arrival at 8.15pm the receptionist told us that the kitchen had closed because they had too many orders and wouldn’t get them all out before 9pm. So we were not allowed to order any food - presumably because the chef was more interested in clocking off than providing a decent level of customer service. To add insult to this they called last orders for drinks at 9.45pm. What a way to make your customers feel welcome. Additionally the rooms were tired and are in desperate need of refurbishment. The free WiFi is virtually unusable so I paid £5 for the Ultimate WiFi just to be able to access my emails. I do think that charging for WiFi in this day and age is crazy. I have had a similar experience at other Premier Inns (where food is not available at the stated times) recently and will no longer be using the brand. AVOID THIS HOTEL IF POSSIBLE!!!"

The Woolpack Inn Warehorne
"What an amazing hidden gem this is. Nestled on a hill top overlooking the marshes with Warehorn church over the road, this pub with rooms is a must for a romantic get away. We arrived early and had a drink in the bar, which is beautifully quirky, a welcoming log fire burning and a wide selection of drinks. We had booked "Niddy" an attic room with so much to give, a comfy bed, roll top bath, and so much character. The only niggle I had with the room, was the W.C squeezed into the roof space it was a little awkward to stand up and wee, but that's a small thing when it comes to such a great room. Requesting a quiet table for dinner, we were given one in a side area and again we couldn't believe it, it was super romantic and we had the whole room to ourselves. Our waiter Muli was so good, he was attentive but not intruding, and so funny, we haven't had many meals out and he really did make the evening. The food was excellent and the vegan burger was one of the best I have had. The location was brilliant, if you're into walking, cycling, birdwatching or wanting to visit local sites (rye was only 20min drive away) The rest of the staff were also brilliant, and couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely return."
The Old Alma
"We found our stay of one night to be adequate. The room was clean but basic. The breakfast was very nice but only offered cooked, no cereal yogurt or juice . The owners were pleasant and engaging but weren’t around to let us in, we had to wait in the car park for quite a while for a neighbour to come down."
