The front desk approved a late check out
and then called and harassed us about getting out of the room before we’re charged another night. It was awful and when I called and asked for a follow up, the manager Maria did nothing and never responded. This was the absolute worst experience and I would never go back.

The Best Western Windsor Inn in Ashland promised more than it delivered and was overpriced in this traveler’s opinion. It is a very large 2 story hotel on the southeast side of I-5 as it runs through Ashland. This makes it easy to find and get back to the highway in the morning if required. It has several buildings and the wing we were in had no elevator though we were on the second floor. It was a job of a struggle getting the bags up to the second floor but worth it as we do not like the clomping of feet above us. The room was quiet and comfortable and roomy. We slept well on a big comfortable bed. Breakfast was included and minimal despite being in a big dining room that looked promising but was nothing special. Notes- Sink was outside the bathroom which is weird to this traveler. Remember no elevator in at least one of the buildings.

The rooms were great and the jetted is so relaxing. Breakfast had a bunch of options and the staff was friendly.

Not our favorite Best Western of this trip. Location is ok. It's across the freeway from main Ashland, but a quick drive to everything. The place is very large. The woman who checked us in was very nice. Do note that even if you have a first floor room, you may need to climb stairs (not fun in the rain). The room did have a fridge, but no freezer in the fridge and it was not very cold (no way to adjust). There was no microwave in room. The room had the basic wall heater, which kept us up most of the night. It clicked everytime it turned on and kept clicking every 2-3 seconds until it shut off. All night. Breakfast was ok, but not great. But there was lots of seating. Ice machines were broken except for down near the main office (walking in rain again).

This was a very peaceful stay. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and immaculately clean (which is high praise from a group of neat freaks ;) ). Excellent service from the front desk. The property was well-laid out and well-cared for. Our room was right by the road and we had almost zero noise from the highway.
