"As a solo woman traveling up the coast, I had been concerned about finding a safe and affordable option to break up my trip. Ashland Commons is both of those things and more - the beds are super comfortable, the whole place is extremely clean, and the bathrooms, bedrooms, and kitchen are all well-stocked with everything you need. On the way up I was expected to arrive close to midnight, so the staff thoughtfully called me ahead of time to share check-in information and sent me texts with helpful pictures and other information I might need (had absolutely no problems following the detailed directions). I enjoyed my stay so much that I booked another stay on my way back, and would highly recommend anyone roadtripping up/down the coast to do the same!"

"Not sure it had a ******* vibe which my friend felt more than me and he said it had a musty smell they bathroom door also kept locking on its own so we had to use a metal rod to tweak it open. It has a jacuzzi but I didn't try it not sure about the staff the female cleaners gave me the worst vibe, they take a deposit on arrival which is refunded back the hotel is opposite safeway which is a nice supermarket but expensive breakfast was very disappointing beds were comfortable"

"The location of the ashland accommodation selected on the way to the creter lake was originally to choose the closer kalamasfalls, but it is said to be relatively dilapidated, the ashland is still good, the hotel is quite satisfactory, recommended."

"Both of us loved this hotel the rooms are really nice they have a microwave and fridge and coffee machine the beds are huge they put little gifts for you like cotton buds and make up removers shampoo conditioner etc. There's a jacuzzi but we didn't go in, the pool was shut but that's okay, if there was an issue staff sorted it right away it was simple but sweet. We aren't a big fan of Ashland so we couldn't come back but if it was somewhere else it would be my go to hotel very nice value"
