It takes about 40 minutes to take a taxi from Kumamoto Airport to the hotel and costs about 8,400 yen. The hotel also has a shuttle bus to Aso Station, which requires reservation in advance. There are convenience stores and large supermarkets within a five-minute walk, but the nearby restaurants are closed after dark. If you want to eat more formally and richly, it is best to order food at the hotel. The hot spring on the top floor faces the Aso volcano and has a great view. When we checked out of another hot spring hotel near Aso Station, we discovered that our phone was missing and immediately called this hotel. Ten minutes later, the front desk found it for us in the room, and sent a staff member to drive it to us half an hour later. Thank you very much!
