Limelight Hotel Snowmass

You can't get any closer to the Snowmass gondolas than from the ski storage room entrance in the back of the hotel. That's the reason I chose Limelight. Somehow, my perspectives have widened and more nuanced after a 5-night stay. I came here to race, a convenient location is important. Now I come to appreciate the other aspects which enhance the overall experience: the infrastructure, the staff, the operation, the services. They work so seamlessly than most hotels I've stayed. In fact, Limelight, Aspen mountain, Snowmass resort are owned and operated by the same company. The shuttle services run on time between the four mountains, the airport, the public parking lots and the city of Aspen. The concierge tells you about the ins-and-outs of the hot places to see, to eat and to ski. That's the backdrop! What I didn't anticipate was losing my new ski posts stored in the ski room. I need them for racing. Otherwise, it won't end well. Racing is a high-wire act and I need everything to be in synch. The big relief came when, for some magical reasons, the staff found my posts. I can't be happier with the care and support I got from the hotel staff. They are the best! I'll be back next year.

Great family vibe in the large hangout area between the bar(/breakfast) area and the lobby. Live music in the evening.

The most convenient location in Snowmass Village with close proximity to the finest dining and ski lifts ! The Limelight Team is also the most conscientious and customer focused team on the mountain !! That combination makes for a delightful holiday experience !!!

The hotel and staff were great! The view was amazing! The rooms were very clean and I will definitely come back again! Also, will recommend to others!

This hotel was fantastic! The service was the best, very friendly staff, location walking to everything, fantastic breakfast every morning, excellent new showers, quick complimentary rides to and from Aspen airport and the best skiing in the world! Tom Rice took care of an issue with our ski rentals and went above and beyond during our stay, just a fantastic group- and Russ and Meg… all amazing! The food, pizza bar, climbing wall, skating rink and Collective next door with games all great for kids and teens! Loved it! Can’t wait to return! 🥂

The positive of this hotel is its location relative to the Snowmass ski area base and the facilities are nice. What is not so nice is the way it is run. My room wasn't ready, nobody seemed to bother to keep me up to date when it would be, so I had to bully the front desk staff into providing a room. Oh, all for just under $1,200 a night. My first invoice at checking out was wrong because an extra meal had been added, then once corrected, the hotel was slow to correct the credit card charge after many email s and calls to the manager (NONE returned). Unfortunately, the front desk staff and manager act like its their first day on the job, which it probably is. See similar reviews in this regard. I will not be returning.
