You can't get any closer to the Snowmass gondolas than from the ski storage room entrance in the back of the hotel. That's the reason I chose Limelight. Somehow, my perspectives have widened and more nuanced after a 5-night stay. I came here to race, a convenient location is important. Now I come to appreciate the other aspects which enhance the overall experience: the infrastructure, the staff, the operation, the services. They work so seamlessly than most hotels I've stayed. In fact, Limelight, Aspen mountain, Snowmass resort are owned and operated by the same company. The shuttle services run on time between the four mountains, the airport, the public parking lots and the city of Aspen. The concierge tells you about the ins-and-outs of the hot places to see, to eat and to ski. That's the backdrop! What I didn't anticipate was losing my new ski posts stored in the ski room. I need them for racing. Otherwise, it won't end well. Racing is a high-wire act and I need everything to be in synch. The big relief came when, for some magical reasons, the staff found my posts. I can't be happier with the care and support I got from the hotel staff. They are the best! I'll be back next year.
