Overall, the room, resort grounds and in-room dining were great. However, other aspects of the experience left a lot to be desired. particularly two aspects were a letdown the complementary shuttle service to town which didn't show at the scheduled departure time. upon inquiring with the front desk, they didn't know why it didn't show up or if it would show up. Moving forward we elected to use our vehicle to get around for the rest of the trip to avoid aimlessly waiting for more than 30 minutes. The second letdown was the check-out experience, we made several attempts to contact guest services to get assistance with our luggage. However, no one answered, it was a bit frustrating having to walk to the front desk to get assistance particularly so that our room was in the furthest building. overall, the checkout experience took 45 minutes and left a lot to be desired. overall, the facilities and grounds are great but in my particular case the service experience was underwhelming and frustrating.
