Hotels Near Pico La Bobia (486 m.) Sierra de Palancas in Asturias

I was only planning on staying one night, I ended up staying for three! My room was so comfortable and peaceful, and it had the most gorgeous view of the water and the castle. It is located near stunning beaches, lovely nature, and the incredible beauty of Northern Spain. I loved my stay here and I look forward to returning one day soon!

It is about 5 minutes walk from the train station and the bus station, and about 10 minutes walk to the city center. The sound insulation is not very good. The upstairs is the home. There are children. They will run around during the day. There is the sound of the train passing by at night. Fortunately, it stopped in the middle of the night. I broke a cup and the front desk said that I didn't let it accompany me.

Super good service, especially because they have 24-hour reception, which is great because some flights have curiosous hours for check-in. Then the day I arrived (on 23:30) they made me a panini because there was nothing open to eat. It is on a walk to the center, and if you are driving a car, there is a lot of parking. I would certainly repeat :)

We have been staying from Saturday to Sunday. In the room we were only going to sleep on the 1.30 of the morning, when we felt a strong smell of tobacco from both coats and soaps, as well as a censor in the lower soap. In the morning I tell the reception girl the problem, who tells me that we should have said something to 1.30 in the morning and we would have changed our room, to which I answered I didn't know that that could be done at those hours The only solution is not to charge the parking, and they say if I send the photo of the saban, someone will contact me to give me a solution to the older. No one gets in touch and I insist again and the answer that I get from the management is that there is no solution to give now. We paid for a room that was not in a condition. What cleaning service. And let's leave the customers happy. I know where we won't go back when we go to Oviedo. Not even to the sercotel city of Oviedo, which is the same.

Check-in was friendly and helpful - I arrived early and was graciously allowed to check-in well before the normal time. Speaking only for my individual room, it was TINY (and I live in NYC - this was tiny even by NYC standards), yet was so intelligently laid out that it never felt cramped. Bedding was of good quality and quite comfortable. Apart from daily housekeeping, there are absolutely no services (and as far as I could tell, the adjacent cafe area was never open). This extends to what I consider normal maintenance issues: the remove control for the TV in my room was not functioning properly, and there was apparently no one on-site that could fix it, so it remained unfixed for the two days I was there. I found a great rate online, so overall it ended being an excellent value, glitches and all.

Stay here for 2 nights The hostel is located in the heart of the historic centre Oviedo, just one street away from the bustling Plaza de la Constitución and City Hall of Oviedo. The hostel is about 15 minutes walk from the main bus and train station in the city and pretty easy to find once I find my way to the city hall. Check-in was really straightforward as the hostel asked me to check in online and all reception needed was my passport to confirm my identity. I was shown all around the hostel, including the kitchen, common area and of course the dorm. The dorm was a four bed dorm with 2 bunk beds and an ensuite bathroom with toilet, shower and bathtub. The shower and toilets worked well. The bunks were the wooden frame variety, although it was pretty sturdy. Even though my bunkmate was a bit of a night owl, I still got 2 nights of good sleep. The mattress was some kind of thick foam and really comfortable. The covers were thick and I had asked for an extra blanket. Even though it was cold, it still felt warm and cosy under the blankets. Breakfast was provided and mainly consisted of cereals, toasts and spreads, tea and coffee. Nothing fancy, but good for the price of the stay. The kitchen and plenty of utensils as well as cooking equipment, and could be used by guests for cooking too. The hostel is also situated on two floors, with the upper floor also containing rooms, a kitchen and a terrace. It was too cold to use at this time of the year, but I did wander up and it has a lovely view of the city hall. The hostel, room and bathroom were kept clean throughout my stay. The staff are awesome, friendly and helpful. They have lots of information for things to do and see in Oviedo and the surrounding area. I would have no hesitation staying at Green Hostel again.

The hotel as a whole is a beautiful place in a wonderful location. The first impression was great. Friendly and welcoming check-in. However, once details come up and they are not resolved, it becomes annoying. Rooms lack basic amenities like tissues, cotton buds, cotton pads, nail file (amenities that are standard in a 5 star hotel). The same room types, which cost exactly the same per night, differ in the amenities that are available in some and not in others. We have 3 rooms of the same category. For example, there is full body mirror in room 203. But a mirror in room 202. (Same room type.) There is a long full-length mirror in 203 and 103 and there is none in 202. There is also a coffee maker in 202 but not in the other 2 rooms.. these are small insignificant details. The biggest problem is not the lack of amenities but the lack of attention because there is not enough staff. It's really a ”one man show”.... In the F&B areas. At the reception... no one answers the phone when you need reception and the coffee at breakfast only comes after breakfast has already been served... feel sorry for the poor staff, they are overworked. However when you need something done in the room... you can call and call, they might apologise but no other solution is given other than a room move. Which on a holiday is not very practical. The bathroom blinds in room 202 are damaged, no one even tries to fix it. In room 203 the windows do not open (faulty) maintenance does not check the condition... only solution is a room move... it would be nice for at least a gesture of finding a solution... I hope the people in charge read this because the place is beautiful, it has a lot of potential and it would be nice if other future guests could enjoy it and not be annoyed by small details that add up and become a burden during the stay.

Very good parking is 10€ the - Nothing. And there is no restaurant to dine only breakfast. The hotel is really very nice. The people are very friendly. Super comfortable environment in the patio

Buen hotel el con muy buena atención, limpio, con aparcamiento y tranquilo a pesar de estar cerca de la autovía. En mi caso, fui en grupo y solicitamos una habitación más para re ubicarnos porque al final venía un viajero más, más tarde que el grupo, y no hubo problemas, es más nos querían mandar a la camarera de planta por si las camas estaban deshechas, ya que nos habíamos tumbado después del viaje. Un detalle esas pequeñas cosas. Habitaciones renovadas y buen buffet desayuno.
