Hotels Near Pista y Parque de Godos in Asturias

Whilst lovely, this is barely a hotel, and certainly not five stars. It is a conference and wedding venue that seems to try and sell its rooms to private guests during the week. While the staff are delightful and very helpful, and the venue is beautiful, the facilities and service are very limited. There is no pool or spa (despite these being pictured on all the holiday websites we looked at). Although the staff did say they'd taken the spa photos down on their own website, this was not made clear at the time of booking. During the week there is an extremely limited menu of just five basic items available to eat (lunch and dinner) - and as the hotel is a good 15min drive from the nearest town, this was a serious issue. The room (we had a junior suite) was absolutely beautiful but again, clearly a wedding venue rather than a hotel - no room service, and very few amenities - although the surrounding park and walks are lovely. We came here for a quiet and romantic holiday away without our children and to be fair, we achieved that. However, I would warn anyone who thinks that this is a ”hotel” to beware - it is not, it is a very charming conference centre and certainly every day we were there, they had a big event and we felt very much in the way. We ended up staying elsewhere for the last two nights of our stay, as there are far nicer places in the area - something the Castillo did not seem surprised by and did not ask us why we were staying elsewhere or if anything was wrong. When we finally checked out, despite having paid in advance, the (again charming) lady at reception had no idea that we'd already paid, and there was confusion over whether we had to pay again. We left with not a good taste, and sadly - although we have nothing bad to say about the staff or the location, both of which are very nice - we would not come back. However, other people seem to have had a lovely time here so perhaps it depends what you are looking for, and what your standards are. Final word though: cannot fault the staff, all of whom were courteous, charming, spoke perfect English, and were very patient and polite.

Beautiful and curious hotel, but a bit worn down. The rooms are very spacious and has a glass wall to allow you have great views. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is huge. The aircondition did not work, and we could not leave the window open, as the guy next door was smoking and leaving our room smelling of smoke (and yes, you are not allowed to smoke in the rooms). The breakfast was really great. The walk from the hotel to the old center of Oviedo is a nice slow walk of 10 min. There is a free parking area 5 min walk from the hotel.

Barcelo Oviedo Cervantes exceeded our expectations, even with its strong reviews. The location, the size and layout of the rooms (especially given its affordability), and particularly the staff, made this a perfect choice for us. Oviedo is a lovely town and we could walk everywhere, which was great. If we come back, we would definitely stay here again. I cannot say enough about Alberto at the front desk. Just a lovely person who went out of his way to ensure our stay was perfect, including making sure we could watch Spain play in the EuroCup semis. He was wonderful!

It is about 5 minutes walk from the train station and the bus station, and about 10 minutes walk to the city center. The sound insulation is not very good. The upstairs is the home. There are children. They will run around during the day. There is the sound of the train passing by at night. Fortunately, it stopped in the middle of the night. I broke a cup and the front desk said that I didn't let it accompany me.

Surpass expectations of detail front desk customer satisfaction service. Our experience was A/C not cooling room. The front desk asked the maintenance specialist to check the room temperature, we asked for a fan they gave us a standing fan. The dinning room staff surpassed expectations, for a large group as we were 25 it was a buffet style, fresh foods, labeled. I recommend this hotel 100%

We have been staying from Saturday to Sunday. In the room we were only going to sleep on the 1.30 of the morning, when we felt a strong smell of tobacco from both coats and soaps, as well as a censor in the lower soap. In the morning I tell the reception girl the problem, who tells me that we should have said something to 1.30 in the morning and we would have changed our room, to which I answered I didn't know that that could be done at those hours The only solution is not to charge the parking, and they say if I send the photo of the saban, someone will contact me to give me a solution to the older. No one gets in touch and I insist again and the answer that I get from the management is that there is no solution to give now. We paid for a room that was not in a condition. What cleaning service. And let's leave the customers happy. I know where we won't go back when we go to Oviedo. Not even to the sercotel city of Oviedo, which is the same.

All right. Great and beautiful rooms. Very good location. Breakfast and dinner very rich. Hotel staff very friendly. I recommend this hotel. The spa cannot comment since we don't use it. We were very happy . It was a good choice

We absolutely loved this hotel decided to stay there at last minute because it’s only about a 15 minute drive from Asturias airport . It’s in a beautiful peaceful setting with fabulous views and lovely garden . Staff at reception so friendly and helpful . Hotel is very Spanish in style with a very comfortable feel. Public areas furnished in traditional style really comfortable. Rooms very spacious, large bed ,fabulous large bathroom really well equipped. We had dinner which was great value and really good at €30 each which included a lovely bottle of Rioja . There is a Spa here too which unfortunately we didn’t have time to sample . The hotel would be a great base for touring all the towns , villages and beaches in the region . Cudillero only about 20 mins drive , Saint Esteban about 10 mins drive . Our only regret was that we would have loved to stay for a week . We’ll definitely be back !!

Hotel céntrico y cómodo, cercano al puente romano, en la plaza del pueblo, junto al Ayuntamiento. En la trasera hay un parking grande pero es de pago hasta el sábado al mediodía, aunque hay zonas cercanas para aparcar gratuitamente. El personal de recepción es agradable. La habitación muy amplia y decorada con gusto, parece renovada, un baño grande con ducha y bañera gigante. Las almohadas son cómodas y la cama grande pero en el centro había cómo una diferencia de altura, es posible que lo formaran 2 colchones de diferente grosor o 2 somieres con el ajuste de las patas diferentes. También dispone de un sofá que se convierte en cama. Las persianas tienen tecla de subida y bajada automática. Tv grande con muchos canales. En el baño, en la zona de espejos hay poca iluminación y es escasa para maquill**** o ver con nitidez la cara.... El desayuno variado con fruta, yogures, cafés e infusiones, zumo y bollería industrial pero sabroso y embutido. No hay huevos, ni bacon ni similar, pero está bien y es suficiente para salir desayunado del hotel. Si vuelvo por la zona repetiré. El hotel dispone de bar y restaurante, que tiene buena pinta, con terraza, y se ve frecuentado por los lugareños.
