Very Good

Very limited English but service was good. The private big onsen was very good, but would have been even better if it was open air in the big private one because it got too stuffy inside.

The price is not cheap, but the hardware and software are top-notch and worth going again.

I took a route bus from Atami Station, took a walk around Ajiro Onsen, and used it for a day trip bath. On the first floor there is an indoor bath and an open-air bath, so it was nice to be able to relax in the hot spring.

I chose this inn for the free-flowing source. Even after check-in, the temperature is so high that the open-air bath cannot be used. When I asked the front desk, it was said that the temperature was high because they refrained from adding water so as not to dilute the source. A hot spring is meaningless without it. I was surprised when the male employee who came to the room before dinner and laid out the futon suddenly threw the futon. It's almost time to eat, but the dust is flying. Attitude of employees who don't care about the presence of customers. Dinner is kaiseki, but it doesn't come out in the order of the menu. If you look closely at the menu, the names of the dishes are shaded, and they appear first. I feel like I'm just ripping it off. All dishes have a vague taste. The rice is also not delicious. The open-air bath seems to have a taste, but the atmosphere is spoiled by the mushikonaz on the plants. Is it a super sento? After checking out, if you want to see off in front of the inn, how about guiding you to the narrow parking lot in front of you? Free-flowing hot springs, rooms with sea views, in-room dining, modern interiors and specs look excellent, but the customer service is not heartfelt at all. It is an inn only in appearance.

The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and the meal went well. Since we were staying for two nights, it's normal for the menu to change. Yes, that's normal. I've experienced this a lot before. However, even though we booked the red snapper course, on the second day it was changed to meat without our permission. Without our permission. They just grilled the meat that was served as yakiniku in the kitchen and served it. We didn't order it. We weren't told anything or confirmed anything. They just ordered meat on their own. We were thinking of having the red snapper course for two days! But why meat when it's so close to the sea? That's it. We stayed here looking forward to seafood. When we called out to the cashier, he didn't come out for a while, and when we told him about dinner, he just replied, so what? Is the old man the president? The store manager? Who is he? He listened with a bothered look on his face. Is this expensive? (It's not cost-effective and I feel bad) We paid a reasonable amount. Why hadn't anyone pointed this out until now? When I told them I wanted to pay by credit card, I complained, so they just waved me over to hurry up and give me my card. I thought they should learn a bit more about manners when dealing with customers. My husband and I are actually both former hoteliers and former travel agency employees, so we know the real world. I was shocked. From now on, I will research places with a higher standard. The breakfast on the second day was also unbelievable. It was normal on the first day, but there were two whole mandarins placed there for dessert.

I visited this inn for the first time because it was highly rated online and there were many good reviews. It is a long-established inn, so my wife and I were looking forward to it. The room price was a little high, but we splurged because it was the beginning of the year. However, it was not satisfactory. The room was not cleaned properly, and there was dust and hair everywhere, perhaps by coincidence. The bath was at a good temperature, and the private bath was free, and the availability could be checked in front of the elevator, so we were able to use it at the right time. The important thing is that the amount, taste, and presentation of the food were neither good nor bad. It depends on your taste, but I felt that it was a bit bland. As an additional option, we requested boiled golden-eyed snapper for two days because we were staying consecutive nights. On the second day, they changed it to a meat dish without any consultation. Why did they ask for a meat dish when we wanted to enjoy seafood? When we told them about it at check-out, they made gestures and attitudes as if they wanted us to pay quickly, without any apology. My wife and I have been in the service industry for a long time, but this was the first time I have seen a front desk staff with such an attitude. The price of the room did not match the content. I have no complaints if it's about ¥10,000 to ¥15,000 for one night with two meals. If they call themselves a long-established inn, I would like them to study again what service and customer service are. I will never go again until I see improvements in the future.
