The stairs feel old, and the steps are narrow and relatively steep. The restaurant, reception, and lounge are on the 4th floor, so you have to go up and down the stairs every time you use them. It is difficult for the elderly as there is no barrier-free consideration. I think it would be better to prominently announce that there is no elevator. It is said that it was renovated in 2016, but only two of the higher-ranked rooms, ``Ukifune'' and ``Aoi,'' have been renovated. The room I stayed in was an eight-tatami room on the second floor called "Fu****kama." This room was partially renovated (washroom, windows, etc.). The moment I saw the poorly unlocked door and the dark, narrow room, I was disappointed. The inn's website mainly features nice photos of rooms that have been renovated, so it can be misleading. The bathroom floor is very dirty, the fittings are scratched, the TV is smaller than the house and has a poor picture quality, and the toilet doesn't flush well. When you turn off the noisy ventilation fan, you can smell the unique smell of an old building. There is no circulation in the outdoor room, and the hot water does not come out of the spout, so it lacks the feeling of a hot spring. The reviews said that we would be free to drink beer and other drinks from the fridge, but we only had bottled tea and water. There were no vending machines either. Maybe it was because it was a breakfast only plan. A large spider appeared in the middle of the night, and I could hardly sleep because I was worried that it would move around the walls and come into my bed while I was sleeping. When my husband and I were having a conversation in the open-air bath, there was a fairly loud noise from the open-air bath in the next room. Bashan! And are you pouring hot water on the wall of the partition? It made a loud noise. Perhaps because our voices are too loud, we made a noise to make them notice... I felt sick. After that, I noticed that the next door and the bath are next to each other at a level where you can clearly hear even the small sound of the person next to you pouring hot water on their shoulders. Also, for dinner, two people eat side by side while watching the night view in front of them in the dining room, but the table is narrow and the front of the table is an aisle, and the seat next to it is separated by a thin wall.
