The room is quite large. In a Japanese hotel with a high star rating, one of the two elevators was under maintenance and the faucet in the room was dripping. The breakfast was good but there was only white rice.

The room is large and comfortable. The semi-outdoor cypress tub has just the right depth and is very comfortable for a single person to soak in. A perfect stay for a short trip to Atami. The hotel was clean and the staff was attentive. The in-room onsen bath was a plus. However, the onsen public bath was relatively mediocre compared to other hotels of the same calibre. All in all, it’s a good stay worth the penny.

The hotel is clean and the breakfast is rich
But the hot spring in the room is really not good. The hot spring temperature can only be adjusted to a maximum of 39.2 degrees. We have asked hotel staff to help adjust it, and the temperature has not reached 40 degrees... The temperature continues to drop. I have never been in a hot spring with such a low temperature. 🥶
