This was my first time to stay at a hotel with so many cockroaches. There were four of them. They appeared in the bath attached to the room and in the room. The room was somehow dusty, and the futon was a mattress, not a futon. I can't believe we paid 130,000 yen for three people for this. The food was also terrible. Even if it was a 9,000 yen per person hotel, the taste and presentation were a bit disappointing. I've stayed at several hotels in the same price range, but the difference was more than a world apart. You can't see the view from the smaller private open-air bath. The changing room was also somehow dusty. Even if the building itself is old, it wouldn't be unpleasant if it was a thoroughly cleaned hotel, but it was obviously not clean enough. The staff seemed to be trying to provide a pleasant customer service. I think it would be better for them to work at another hotel. I think some people might book this hotel thinking that it's a high-class inn because the price is comparable to that of a luxury inn, but I don't want them to have the same experience, so I wrote this. If they charge high prices and make customers have a bad experience, I think they will eventually not be able to survive, even if they are located in Atami.

Only the scenery and the bath can be said to be 100 steps. This is the first time I've had such a low quality meal at an inn. I wish I could be. If you are going to use it, it may be better to stay overnight without rice.

I was picked up from Ajiro station. I was 5 minutes late for the pick-up time...I'm sorry. Stayed in the sun room. A room with a footbath and an open-air bath. The footbath side is designed so that you can see the outside, so you can enter while looking at the scenery outside. There is a large table in the room, so you can eat in the room in the morning and evening. Each one had a barracuda and a large boiled alfonsino, so I couldn't eat it all. A little less is enough. The private open-air bath is very large, and you can relax while watching the night view. I panicked when there was a centipede in the room, but I think it can't be helped because the surroundings are mountains (I've seen centipedes at other high-class inns). There are many foreign staff, but I was able to get a good impression of the polite customer service.

And the price and quality of the food don't match at all. Green peas were in the bowl, but they were tasteless... Spiny lobsters were also served, but they were small and tasteless. The whole meal was really tasteless. There is a toilet in the room, but it was badly made and I could hear all the noise, which was very disgusting. It was noisy with sounds and voices from the next room. I've stayed at hundreds of hotels so far, but this was the worst one. Once booked, it's the last time.
