Courtyard Atlanta Downtown

The front desk was amazing and very helpful in getting us checked in and out. The room quite spacious and comfortable too.

This is a beautiful, clean, new, luxurious, safe hotel. It is in a safe neighborhood and is close to both Zoo Atlanta and the Georgia Aquarium. There are several restaurants 5–10 minutes, walking distance, including the Hard Rock Cafe. I didn’t like any of them. They currently only clean the rooms every other day. That’s fine, but I was not told that at check-in. I got a King Size room. Since I wastraveling solo, I did not want to be wasteful and get two Queen Size beds, even though it was th same price. There was barely any room on both sides of the bed which is fine. I am a travel blogger, and have experienced that all over the world. However, the door opened inward into the bathroom. So every time I walked into the bathroom I had to decide if I wanted the door handle or the sink to press into my stomach. And the toilet was so low to the ground. I had a hard time getting down and then back up. The restaurant is more like a bar that serves a few food items. I wouldn’t bother getting dinner there unless it’s raining or you just don’t have time to go to a restaurant. They don’t serve lunch. There are several great items on the breakfast menu including oa**eal, fruit, breakfast burritos, bagels, etc. There is no sign-up that gives the restaurant hours. The sign in the elevator incorrectly states that breakfast ends at 10 AM on weekdays and 11 AM on weekends. That is not correct and management is aware of it but has not change the sign yet.

Hotel is in downtown and walkable to Centennial Park and Martin Luther King Center. Many restaurants in the area. Hotel staff was very helpful.

The hotel add staff were amazing during my stay. However the area around the hotel was a little sketchy...

My husband I stayed at Courtyard Marriott downtown in Atlanta and we found the hotel to be very clean and quiet. We also had dinner at the Ponce room and the food was delicious and the ambiance was nice. The service and staff was outstanding and I would recommend the Ponce room to my family and friends. The next morning my husband and I grabbed a Starbucks and everyone was super nice and hospitable. Great place to visit.
