Best Pet friendly Hotels in Auch

This place (I don't call it a hotel) is honestly the worst place I have ever stayed. I would not recommend this to my worst enemy. On arrival it reminded me of the hotel arrival scene from the inbetweeners movie. The outside reminded me of somewhere that had been closed up for about 40 years and had just been left. An old leather worn out arm chair was left outside the room for the 3 days we were there. Probably been there for a long time. Roll up metal shutters on the windows, the type you usually see on shop fronts to stop thieves. Not the prettiest sight to say the least. Ours was a superior room so I would hate to see the standard of other rooms! Breakfast was edible, continental choice of cheese, ham, boiled egg, cereal, yoghurt, fruit. Didn't bother having it one day though but wished we had as we found that the restaurant was closed at lunch time and there is literally nowhere else to get food from, unless you can get a taxi to Auch so we had to buy a mini mars bar from reception. Inside the room, the bed was actually ok and the bathroom was ok too. We got 4 coat hangers between 2 persons so not nearly enough for 3 days of clothes. I think the carpet was supposed to be beige but it was mainly black. If you fancy a beer to drown your sorrows then expect to pay nearly 9 Euros for a pint of Heinken here! Much cheaper in the centre of Auch if you can get there. One thing I would say is the staff were fine, no issues with them! I imagine they probably felt sorry for us. I cannot imagine why anyone would want to stay here and why it is even still open.

The hotel is austere, verging on soulless, on top of a hill with high fencing all round reinforcing the feeling of being in a compound... We did not eat in the restaurant but breakfast was a predictable buffet: too many items - meaning that cheese was dry because it had been out too long - and the croissants ran out... Coffee was filtered in a jug and, although there was a proper coffee machine, it was not offered as an alternative to the filtered jug - the staff either didn't know how to use it (my husband asked) or it was not to be used for breakfast. It would have made a huge difference to have had proper coffee. We had a standard room which was small and there was nowhere to sit - one chair/desk close to the bed - other than on the bed itself. The towels and linen were lovely.

The ibis Auch hotel is located on the northern bypass of the city, close to the E.Leclerc and Grande Chene shopping areas. The hotel has air-conditioned rooms, a 24-hour bar serving snacks and nibbles, and free unguarded parking. A meeting room is available by reservation for conferences and seminars. Ibis Budget Auch Due to covid check in was in the Ibis hotel next door, very friendly staff. Room was clean, had a bed, small hanging rail in the corner, desk area, mirror with hangers. it had a 'pod' like shower, sink and separate toilet. We stayed there for three days perfect for just requiring to stay in a room. Anything we needed we just had to ask the staff. Breakfast is available if you wanted it. Excellent location to Auch and local facilities like petrol station and super markets.
