We had a fabulous meal at Cairn Lodge last week. The staff were extremely attentive but not overbearing. The conservatory location was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The food was excellent and we thought a reasonable price (just under £200 - two starters, three mains, two desserts, four spirits and two soft drinks, plus a liqueur coffee). We will definitely be back!

Lovely hotel, beautifully decorated reception, bar areas and conservatory (dining room). Bedroom was lovely and beautifully decorated with a large bathroom - would have liked somewhere to lay toiletries though. Staff extremely professional and friendly, in fact they made our stay extra special.

2 couples celebrating our 70 years young Booked signature rooms which were lovely The stairs up to the rooms were a challenge for my husband, especially the turn towards the landing The en-suite again was lovely, but no walk in shower, the shower was over the bath, what a struggle to help my husband in an out of the shower, certainly not disabled friendly. Loved the lounge ambiance which was great, cocktails and whisky enjoyed The hotel seemed under staffed, even before a waitress had an accident. The lack of air conditioning was significant, especially with the high tog quilt Overall a lovely small hotel, we had a great time with great friends

Stayed overnight in the main hotel and had dinner. The room was excellent, large comfy bed and well decorated. Dinner was good, the mains were very good but the starter someone forgot to season. Small staff compared to previous visits way better,

We stayed in one of the closey doubles situated in the lodge just next to the main hotel. The food was excellent , staff couldn’t do enough for you, especially Mishi who looked after us through arrival and until we left. He was again very helpful, friendly and couldn’t do enough to make our stay welcoming and enjoyable. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Fantastic afternoon tea. Made feel most welcome, with nothing a bother. Food top quality and a little bit different and served by excellent and helpful staff, with every member of staff being so pleasant. Will certainly be back to eat at this lovely venue.

Wonderful 2-night stay. Couldn't have asked for a better place to spend a couple nights in the Scottish winter. Attention to detail throughout. Excellent food too.

We had a surprise party, staff were very helpful with everything. The food and service was incredible. Food was served swiftly and to a high standard, staff again were very attentive with all requests. Would definitely recommend this as a place to visit and will be going back.
