Lovely stay for the week with hosts Veronica and Ajay. Room was just fine and comfortable. Convenient to restaurants and beach. There are also lovely walks and parks when you leave the model.Nice and clean, this is our second stay, we will be back 👌

My third stay here. A good *** Motel. My room was very clean and comfortable, with a handy kitchen and lounge room. The manager was very helpful, showing me how to use the laundry. Close to cafes, restaurants and the beach. A great alternative to a city centre stay.

We chose this motel because it is in a fabulous and quieter location away from the city centre. Just a one minute walk from the beach with its fabulous cafe. There is a bus every 15 minutes to take you into the city. The journey takes just 15 minutes along the waterfront. The unit was spacious and comfortable. The welcome was very warm, friendly and helpful from the owner/manager who lives on-site. Parking is safe and free. Within walking distance of Mission Bay and St Heliers with their cafes, restaurants and beaches.

Great motel
We enjoyed our stay at Aarangi. We had a very friendly welcome from the excellent manager. We had the spacious family room for 2 of us, but it would be more than adequate for a family of 4. Excellent value for money in a very nice area, close to the beach.

Awful motel and dishonest staff. Avoid.
Horrible stay in this horrible old motel. We were lied to when checking in and not given the room we booked. After realising the bait-and-switch we requested to be out in the right room, which the staff and manager protested and gave multiple made up excuses (none of which aligned with the others or were true). They finally admitted they were holding it in hope of a walk-in to arrive, which is bizarre for a motel to screw over their already paying guests, when we were almost the only people in the whole place. The rooms were old, filthy bathrooms and didn't have fire alarms. They eventually conceded the room was empty and we should be in it, and refused to offer any discount for the terrible experience or hour lost relocation my family to the new room. We won't ever stay at this awful motel ever again. Note: photos limited to 8, so could only show a few things. The shower was blocked and disgusting, among multiple other issues.

Very happy with our stay! We were made to feel welcome from the moment we got there. Great room that met our needs, very clean and tidy. And you can’t beat the location, it’s just a wee bit back from the beach, and a short walk (or very quick bus) to a great range of restaurants for dinner. We will be back!
