We have stayed as both corporate travelers and holiday guests in 4 and 5 starred Hotels and services apartments across Europe and Asia over the last 30 years. This serviced apartment at the Quest Parnell stands alone, as it presents itself (especially after the upgrade) like a five star hotel but remains competitively priced. We have stayed at the Quest Parnell a great many times as we do a lot of business in Auckland. Our current stay periods are 3 days a week in a One Bedroom apartment for the foreseeable future. The stars of the show are Penny (the owner General manager), her husband Paul who manages the property and Shubham the Resident Manager. They make a great combination with the uncanny ability to see all things great and small and clearly have an eye for detail. The upgrade is outstanding. We stayed in one of the Studio Apartments last week and in the one bedroom apartment again this week as we will, moving forward. A great experience to see all that thought and planning come to fruition. From the placing of the lamps in the rooms, the positioning of the TV and the couch, the non-skid floor tiles, the shelving in the bathroom, to the curtains to the carpeting, the new King bed, all come together to ensure space is used economically and ergonomically and that the aesthetics of the living accommodations are all designed to make the stay of the guest a pleasant experience. Thank you. After a day at work, it is a pleasure to come back to a room that has been spotlessly cleaned and immaculately presented each day. We have stayed at the Quest almost a dozen times in the last year or so. Not surprisingly we were offered a contract to spend 3 days in Auckland each week for this entire year. Picking the Quest Parnell as our first and only choice did not take very long to arrive at. The team are an outstanding example of what a Corporate Serviced Apartment should be. Penny has an extraordinary amount of experience in managing serviced apartments and a flair for understanding the finer points of what guests need. Kong who looks after the guests on the weekend is outstanding as well, as he is a qualified hotel manager. The entire team of cleaners, reservation staff all appear to have imbibed this ‘can do’ attitude that makes staying at this property such a pleasant experience The Quest Group should know that the management and staff of this hotel and serviced apartment are an asset to their group. My suggestion is hang on to them. It is a pleasure as a long stayer to write this review.
