"Staying at Honglin Pavilion Inn in Dali was an absolute gem! The facilities and amenities were top-notch, far exceeding my expectations, and truly enhanced my trip. The inn's location is incredibly convenient. Step right out into the ancient city's streets, and a stroll to Erhai Lake is just a few minutes away. Walking into the courtyard was a breathtaking experience; it's designed in a classical Chinese garden style, with rockeries and flowing water complemented by vintage lanterns. The common areas feature incredibly comfortable rattan chairs and tea sets, and they even provide complimentary tea and utensils. In my free time, I'd brew a pot of tea and enjoy the scenery – it was so relaxing I didn't want to leave. All in all, the stay brought immense happiness. Next time I'm in Dali, I'll definitely choose this place again!"

"It was a wonderful stay! The apartment was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a beautiful view. All amenities were available, and the building felt extremely safe with secure access and security. The host was very friendly and responsive at all times. The price is excellent compared to others, and the location is great ..close to cafés and a nearby park. Highly recommended! 🌟"

"The hotel is conveniently located near Dongmen, surrounded by a plethora of fantastic food options, and you can even enjoy a drink at a bar in the evenings. The facilities are comprehensive, the hygiene is impeccable, and the environment is beautiful. The service from the staff, especially the ladies, was exceptional—they were incredibly warm and welcoming. I'll definitely stay here again next time!"

"Even though I only stayed for one night, my experience was excellent. The hotel is located very close to the South Gate of the ancient city, making it super convenient to walk there. I especially loved the hotel's antique and charming ambiance, and the way the rooms surround the lobby really reminded me of the movie 'Big Fish & Begonia'. Also, the staff were incredibly warm and friendly, and they even extended my check-out by two hours, which I really appreciated as it helped with my inconvenience. Many thanks!"

"The hotel location is quite strategic, can walk around 10 minutes to ancient town and 15 minutes to erhai lake. This hotel doesn't have any lift, but the host is so kind with our luggage and help us to carry it safely to our room located at the 1st floor. Room is provided with basic amenities, and it is spacious for our 3 days 2 nights stay. We want to thank to them cause they even help us to arrange transport for our early morning checkout to the railway station. They even recommend good halal eateries for us. Will definitely come back 🥰🥰"

"While traveling in Lijiang and Dali, this guesthouse was hands down the best accommodation experience of my entire trip. The front desk staff, both the guys and girls, were incredibly welcoming. They even upgraded our room for free during check-in. The bathroom was spotless and refreshing, and the cozy tatami bed was a dream. The entire room featured smart home technology, which was fantastic – everything was automated, no need to lift a finger. I hadn't planned much before coming to Dali, but the front desk attendant meticulously explained and recommended a touring itinerary. They were always responsive and ready to answer any questions we had. The best part is that the guesthouse is right by the ancient city, just a few minutes' walk away. After exploring the ancient city, we could come back and chat around a bonfire with everyone, which really made it feel like home. Before I even left, I brought some old friends I unexpectedly met during my travels to see the place. I'm already planning to stay here again if I get another chance to visit Dali."

"Highly recommended, a perfect score! The ambiance of this hotel in Dali is absolutely stunning! The luckiest thing about my trip to Dali was choosing the right hotel! As soon as I arrived at the entrance, I was captivated by the lush greenery. The courtyard is filled with succulents and local plants, with traditional Bai-style architecture interspersed throughout. Every casual photo turns out to be a stunning, atmospheric shot, so there's no need to specially seek out scenic spots for photos. The room offers amazing views; opening the window reveals the silhouette of Cangshan Mountain. I woke up to bird songs in the morning and enjoyed a sky full of stars at night – it was so tranquil and healing. The interior decor is minimalist yet tasteful, and the cleanliness was exceptional. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and combined with the gentle lighting, it instantly melted away all travel fatigue. The public areas are also a big plus: a lounge area surrounded by greenery, clean and tidy corridors, and even fresh flowers placed in the elevator area. You can feel the thoughtfulness everywhere. The hotel's overall environment is quiet and not noisy, allowing you to enjoy the fresh air of nature while having a private and comfortable stay. Staying here in Dali was truly worth it! I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll choose it again next time I visit."

"The hotel has a very nice mountain view and is spacious. The hotel staff are very friendly. The shampoo, body wash and body lotion smells very good. There is a robot machine to help pick up delivery to the room, if needed. There are welcome drinks, freely accessible to guests. We happened to chance upon the local market when we checked in, which happens on specific days in the month. The local market stores is right at the main entrance so we had to enter from the west entrance. Good to travel by didi to and from hotel because it’s a distance away on a slightly inclined hill. Still enjoyed the stay nonetheless."

"We originally booked for only one night, but after staying, we found the room to be cozy and clean, and the bed soft and comfortable, so we decisively extended our stay for another night. A special thanks to the young lady at the front desk who, knowing we had an early train and wouldn't have time for breakfast, arranged for the auntie to prepare it for us in advance. She was so warm and thoughtful! I never expected to find such a high-value guesthouse in Dali Ancient City. I've already recommended it to friends!"

"The hotel's location is excellent, right near the high-speed train station. It's very convenient to get to tourist attractions by taxi. The hotel offers airport shuttle service, but not train station shuttle service, which the front desk explained is due to its proximity to the high-speed train station. The lobby is spacious and bright, and the reception area offers tea service. The room facilities are quite new, clean, and tidy. The duvet is light and warm, and the air conditioning's heating works well. Breakfast offers a good variety, and the restaurant environment is also very pleasant. I saw the restaurant's front desk staff actively helping a guest in a wheelchair, which was very caring. My room was upgraded, offering views of Cangshan Mountain. Hampton by Hilton generally offers great value for money."
