We were a large multi-generational family group traveling for over ten days, moving between several locations. Our top priorities were accommodation environment and hygiene, so all our stays were meticulously chosen online. After this trip, we felt that the guesthouses in Yunnan were all great, but this one was unanimously praised by the whole family. We booked three rooms for four nights, and from the moment we stepped in, we were captivated. Nestled beside the main street of the ancient town, yet offering a quiet escape, the courtyard boasts a beautiful and serene environment with a well-arranged layout. Though it doesn't look large from the outside, it has everything: an elegant garden, a lively pond, a rustic tea room, a bright sunlit lounge, a scenic terrace, and a winding staircase with an ancient tree leading upwards. It truly felt like a hidden gem, absolutely stunning. We loved the environment so much that a significant portion of the photos taken after the kids got their ethnic costume makeovers was right here in the courtyard! 😂 Additionally, the rooms were very clean, and the owner was incredibly kind. They gave us recommendations for travel routes, helped us with various small issues that came up during our stay, and were available 24/7. In short, we were truly satisfied! ~~

It is located in a quiet mountain forest, surrounded by trees, birds and flowers, as if it is a paradise. The exterior design of the homestay is unique, integrating the traditional local architectural style and modern elements, which is both simple and fashionable. Entering the homestay, the warm atmosphere is coming. The front desk staff greeted us warmly, with a sincere smile on our faces, which made us feel the warmth of home in an instant. After check-in, the staff personally led us to the room and patiently introduced the facilities and usage of the room. The room was very delicately furnished and every detail was handled just right. Clean and tidy beds, soft and comfortable pillows and quilts make people not want to get up as soon as they lie on. Outside the window is a beautiful mountain view. Open the window and the fresh air comes out, which makes people feel refreshed. In the past few days at the B&B, I have fully experienced its excellent service. Every morning, the B&B will provide a rich breakfast, with local specialties, as well as Western-style bread, milk and so on. The environment of the restaurant is also very comfortable. Sitting by the window, enjoying the food while enjoying the beautiful scenery outside the window, it is a kind of enjoyment. In addition to breakfast, the hotel also provides afternoon tea and dinner service. The dishes are colorful and the taste is very delicious. The hotel's entertainment facilities are also very complete. There is an open-air swimming pool, jumping into the cool water in the hot summer, which can both relieve the heat and relax. There is also a chess room and a library for guests to entertain and read in their leisure time. In addition, the homestay also organizes some outdoor activities, such as hiking, mountaineering, etc., so that guests can better integrate into nature and feel the charm of nature. The experience of staying at the B&B made me gain a lot. It made me feel what is really ”home away from home”. In this fast-paced society, people often ignore the details and beauty of life. Staying here was a fantastic escape to the countryside! I loved just gazing out the window at the Cangshan mountains and fields – it was so relaxing and healing. Everything met my expectations, especially the room which offered great value for money and was super clean. The owner was really friendly too, and it turns out he used to be in a band. He even sang us some folk songs, which was such a wonderful and unexpected bonus! This place definitely deserves full marks, guys!

Location was great, walking distance to places of attraction. Boss was helpful and friendly. It's newly renovated so the room was bright and clean. No lift in the hotel so gonna carry own luggage up the stairs.

It's really great, and the price is cheap. The toothbrush could be improved, but the hot water is excellent. The air conditioning is just average.

Many people come to Dali to heal their wounds, but I was different. I came here for a long-planned escapade. Traveling before the National Day holiday was perfect – no crowds, and most importantly, the weather was fantastic! Every day was filled with blue skies and white clouds, making for beautiful photos without any filters. The best part was the guesthouse I found online. It's located on Yu'er Road near the East Gate of Dali Old Town, just a five or six-minute walk from Erhai Gate and Renmin Road. The alleyway is right next to the main road, surrounded by restaurants and food stalls. The guesthouse has a fresh, clean style, exactly like the pictures. There's even a small pool in the courtyard, perfect for taking photos. The rooms were spotless, and the service was excellent. They helped with my luggage, helped me rent a car, and recommended great restaurants with good value. I completely avoided any bad experiences. You don't need to do any research before coming here. I rode a bicycle along Erhai Lake, enjoyed the breeze, drank Dali's local beer, ate roasted milk fan, and rode horses in Fengyangyi. In short, I loved everything about Dali and will definitely come back again, especially to Eight Mile.

The location of the B&B is very good. It is on Yu'er Road, which is the main street of the ancient city. It is very lively and very convenient for going out for fun. You can see Cangshan Mountain when you leave the B&B, and it's only 1 or 2 minutes away from the supermarket next door. The B&B starts to get quiet around 10pm, so even though we are light sleepers, we can sleep well. The taxi can go directly to the door of the B&B, so there is no need to drag your suitcase along the stone road. The room is very clean, the boss is super friendly, and the room price is very favorable.

The room was very clean and well equipped. Although there was no air conditioning, there were blankets and electric blankets. The bed was very comfortable to sleep. The roof could watch the sunrise and sunset. It was very good. The boss also took me to the Didi site to Shaxi very kindly. It was very close, only 600 meters. There is a breakfast shop bakery nearby, very convenient

這次住的這家民宿真的太太太驚喜了！老闆簡直是神仙宿主，從我們到店開始就特別熱情，幫着搬行李、推薦周邊的小眾玩法，感覺像到了朋友家一樣親切。 房間更是沒話説，乾淨得讓人心裏舒坦，床單被罩帶着淡淡的清香，地板光腳踩上去都沒問題，衞生間也收拾得一塵不染，細節處看得出來老闆是真的用了心在打理。 本來衹計劃住兩晚，結果越住越喜歡，乾脆續到了四晚。每天出門逛累了回來，感覺整個人都放鬆下來了。下次再來這邊，一定還選這家，已經把連結推給身邊好幾個朋友啦！
