The views are stunning, the environment is comfortable and peaceful, and the facilities are comprehensive. The toiletries are thoughtfully chosen, and you can even enjoy a bath! The complimentary afternoon tea and breakfast are delicious, and the service is incredibly attentive and detailed. The staff, both gentlemen and ladies, helped with our luggage during check-in and check-out, which was very considerate! The free shuttle service is also a great perk! And the complimentary laundry service was perfect for washing all our clothes from the previous few days! My only minor complaint is that the shower drain was a bit slow, causing water to pool into the toilet area. This could be improved. We'll definitely be back next time!

The B&B is lovely, with a great environment, and it's super close to Erhai Lake. You can also pet their dog, and they have a few adorable kittens. It's just a one-minute walk from the B&B to the lakeside. The best part is that this village is quieter and less crowded. Maybe it was off-season when I visited, but it's definitely calmer compared to Longkan Pier and Caicun Pier. In the morning, you can enjoy a peaceful walk along the lake and watch the sunrise. Even though there are fewer people in the village, there are still enough places to get food, with a wet market and many restaurants – I really enjoyed the food! There are also bakeries and coffee shops. Since I only stayed for 5 days, I didn't get to try all the coffee shops. There are also some nice coffee shops with great views very close by the Erhai Lake.

I rarely write reviews, but this hotel truly touched me. As an architect/interior designer, hotel design, aesthetics, and facilities have always been my top criteria when traveling. I've stayed in many hotels both domestically and internationally. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to book the newly built room type at Zuodu; the older section was just okay in terms of comfort. If you have the option, I definitely recommend choosing the new room types. The hotel is located right on the scenic coastal road. Its somewhat remote location makes it even quieter compared to S Bay, yet the surrounding scenery is still fantastic. What really made me want to check in here was their service. First, I chose two room types, and both included breakfast, plus daily afternoon tea options. The breakfast was quite rich, served buffet style, with Western, Cantonese, and rice noodle options. The restaurant environment is also excellent, with a great ambiance for photos both indoors and outdoors. Honestly, I've been to Dali many times, and hotels in this price range rarely offer breakfast, let alone afternoon tea. A cup of coffee costs 30-40 yuan, and you can order two per room, along with fruit and flower cakes. Besides the food, the hotel's other thoughtful services were also very impressive. This included shuttle service to and from the parking lot, and to and from the airport (we were a group of 5, 3 adults and 2 children, and the hotel provided a complimentary 7-seater shuttle from Longkan Pier, and the airport drop-off price was also upgraded from a 5-seater to a 7-seater for free). Bottled water in the hotel is unlimited and self-service. Instant coffee, tea bags, and steam eye masks are provided daily in the room, and none of them are off-brands. In the public restrooms, they thoughtfully provide sanitary pads and mouthwash, both of which are good brands. In short, whatever you requested, the front desk always responded and resolved it immediately. Upon checkout, they even gave us Pu'er tea cakes as a souvenir. I can truly say their service was exceptional. I will definitely choose Zuodu again next time I come to Dali.

The room was spotless, and I absolutely loved the decor. Its location right by Erhai Lake is fantastic; you get direct views of the lake the moment you open the curtains, which was incredibly uplifting. What truly made the stay special was the owner, who was exceptionally kind and hospitable. All in all, it was fantastic value for money.

Facilities: Very complete (though no fridge), but there's a small supermarket nearby for drinks, and a restaurant + BBQ joint downstairs that serves delicious food! There's also a coffee shop downstairs, couldn't ask for more. Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: Absolutely beautiful! Seriously, it's stunning!!! Service: The owner was very thoughtful and upgraded our room! Much appreciated! Forget other places around Erhai Lake, you should just book a hotel like this and just chill out for a whole day. It's incredibly comfortable!

A hidden gem by Erhai Lake! The ecological corridor is right outside, making it super convenient for cycling and enjoying the sea views. The room's floor-to-ceiling windows offer direct views of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. It's clean, cozy, and fully equipped. The butler was attentive and enthusiastic, proactively helping with itinerary planning and luggage. The value for money is absolutely amazing – definitely my top choice for accommodation in Dali!

The room has an excellent location; just downstairs, you'll find an ecological promenade. The room we booked featured floor-to-ceiling windows offering direct views of Erhai Lake, making access to the lake incredibly convenient. However, since it's located in a village, transportation to the ancient town or Cangshan Mountain for sightseeing isn't very convenient, and taxis are difficult to hail. I recommend renting the guesthouse's electric scooter; it's both affordable and practical. The guesthouse owner is fantastic! You can take a taxi to the village entrance, and the owner will come to pick you up on an electric scooter. On the day we left, there was a heavy downpour, and the owner patiently helped us find a car to get back to the ancient town. Highly recommended!

Blindly selected homestay, I didn't expect it to be beyond imagination! 💗 The brother and sister of the hotel should not be too nice! I couldn't get a taxi in the heavy rain on the night of the stay. I called the boss brother. I came to pick him up without saying anything. I was moved 🥹 That's the rain that night, snuggling up to borrow money. 🥶 When I saw the boss sister, I immediately took me to roast the fire. I was worried that I could not eat alone, and I asked me to have dinner (wait for me to start next time) Continue to talk about the room, the white tone of art, the smart home, and the screen can also be cast. Separation of dry and wet, with heating, well maintained. The disposable items are good, pay attention to the paper is Debao, really good! There is a drum washing machine, I really want to stay a few more days 🥰 You can see the sunrise from the Erhai Sea not far away

We drove there, and the drive was relatively smooth. We parked on the roadside in front of the guesthouse; it's a one-way street, and sometimes electric tricycles pass by, so you have to give way. You can also park on the side of the country road. You can cycle around the courtyard. We arrived around 10 PM and cycled about 7 kilometers to S-shaped bend. There were hardly any people on the road, a gentle breeze, a bright moon, and a sky full of stars—a much better experience than during the day! P1 is a view from inside the room. We got up at 7 AM to check if there was a sunrise. P2-4 were taken from the rooftop, where the view is even more expansive. You can see Erhai Lake in front and Cangshan Mountain behind. You don't need to go outside; after the view, we went back to the room and took a nap. You can also go outside; there's a small boardwalk extending out from there, which is also very beautiful. The guesthouse was quite new, the bedding was clean, and they provided disposable toilet seat covers. The slippers were also of good quality. It's great value for money. Dali is very congested during holidays, so cycling is a good option.

I came to Dali just for the sea view, and Huaman completely exceeded my expectations! The moment I opened the door, the entire Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain became the backdrop to my room. With 180-degree panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, watching the sunrise from bed was simply breathtakingly romantic. The room design was very stylish, clean, and cozy – so incredibly soothing. The most touching part was waking up in the morning to sunlight spilling onto the duvet, with the shimmering Erhai Lake right before my eyes – this is exactly the 'slow-paced Dali life' I've always dreamed of. I'll definitely stay here again next time! It's not far from the ancient city, just a 10-15 minute taxi ride. You can easily hail a taxi right downstairs, and there's free parking available. It's right next to Erhai Lake, and stepping downstairs takes you directly to the ecological corridor, making it super convenient for cycling and watching the seagulls. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and both the air conditioning and hot water worked perfectly. The king-sized bed was huge and soft, making it so enjoyable to lie in bed and gaze at the sea. The toiletries were also of good quality. The room was spotless, and the sheets were pristine and soft. The butler service was truly exceptional – very enthusiastic, coordinating our check-in time in advance and helping with our luggage.
