My first time staying here, and I was very impressed. The staff were lovely, and the room was great—featuring a beautiful view of Erhai Lake. Transportation was convenient, with buses passing by to take you to various attractions, and the location isn't far from Dali Railway Station. The price was good, and the room was clean.

The Hampton by Hilton Dali Erhai offers suites with well-designed layouts, featuring a functional living room, office area, and bedroom. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows provide excellent natural light, and the bathroom boasts exquisite design and brand-new facilities. The rooms are equipped with a microwave and a direct-drinking water dispenser, creating a very home-away-from-home feel. Upon check-in, guests receive local welcome amenities like flower cakes and fresh fruit. Public areas include a self-service laundry room and a free beverage station, incorporating local cultural and creative elements. The front desk staff is professional and compliant, and the location offers convenient access to nearby attractions, being close to the Erhai scenic belt. This hotel is suitable for vacations, business trips, and long stays, providing an excellent overall experience. Highly recommended.

What I liked about the hotel: I chose it because it's an American brand hotel, and I figured their operating principles would be more standardized. The location is excellent; you can take bus 8 directly from the high-speed rail station and it drops you right at the entrance. We used public transport to visit several attractions in Xiaguan, which was a relaxed way to travel without the crowds. Getting to Dali Ancient City, climbing Cangshan Mountain, and seeing Erhai Lake by taxi was also very convenient. What I didn't like 👎: The no-smoking signs were scarce and not prominent enough; this needs improvement. For example, the signs were small, the message was unclear, and they were placed in inconspicuous locations. The ashtrays integrated into the trash cans by the elevators are misleading and implicitly suggest that smoking is allowed. Non-smokers always outnumber smokers, so I hope the hotel will enhance its brand quality and strictly enforce smoking control measures. Otherwise, it will continue to be criticized for hypocrisy. Personal tip: When taking a taxi, choosing a female driver can reduce the frequency of exposure to second-hand smoke.

This hotel is located just north of Xingsheng Bridge. The lobby is spacious and offers complimentary popcorn and freshly ground coffee. The front desk staff are very welcoming and the breakfast offers great value for money, with freshly made rice noodles and regular noodles. The housekeeping staff are also very thorough and attentive.

Had a fantastic stay! The hotel's location is easy to find, and the front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive. The room was clean and bright, with a cozy atmosphere, and the bedding was super comfortable. I really enjoyed the book bar in the common area — it had a great vibe. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options and tasted delicious. Overall, it was a relaxing and hassle-free experience. Definitely my top choice for travel, and I'll be back again!

Stayed here for a business trip and was very satisfied. The front desk lady was incredibly nice and helped me check in quickly even though I arrived late at night. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was definitely worth the price. I'll come again. Exceeded expectations! The hotel is new and stylishly decorated. The location is convenient, and most importantly, the soundproofing is excellent – I slept soundly until morning. Five-star rating, highly recommend. Pretty good, no complaints. Cleanliness, service, and location all lived up to the price. Nothing to criticize, full marks.

This is the only hotel review I've ever written, and it's definitely not one of those 'scan a QR code for a free gift' type of reviews. I want to share my genuine experience. For our family trip to Yunnan with my parents and children, this was by far the most satisfying hotel we stayed in. It's not necessarily about the top-notch hardware, but the service is absolutely first-class. As soon as we arrived, they were there to pick us up, helping with all five of our suitcases. At the front desk, they immediately gave toys to the kids. The breakfast was also absolutely fantastic. Because we were traveling with children, it can be a bit more complicated, but the hotel went above and beyond, installing safety rails and even helping to put duvet covers on. When we left, they even gave us complimentary flower cakes. In short, I believe this is how a hotel should be. While the facilities might not be five-star, the service definitely is five-star quality. I'm not a shill; I've been to Dali several times. For a family with children on vacation, the most important things are quietness, cleanliness, a homely feeling, and mutual understanding. That's enough. Keep up the great work, and by continually refining the details, you'll be even better. I will definitely stay here again next time and recommend it to my friends.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. My experience in the standard room last time was excellent, and this time, with friends, we booked a room for playing cards and mahjong. Checking in again felt like coming home. The hotel truly shows attention to detail in every aspect. The staff noticed we wanted to play cards and proactively replenished drinking water and disposable teacups; after sitting for a while, we casually mentioned needing cushions, and the staff quickly brought them. The room was impeccably clean, the card equipment was brand new, and the hot water and bedding were all in perfect condition. The service is full of thoughtful little details, especially the receptionist, who is always smiling and very welcoming. She makes you feel comfortable and at ease. I don't usually leave reviews, but this hotel is truly a hidden gem, a top choice for any trip to Dali!

Service: The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic. They proactively showed us to our room and explained how to use the smart lock. When my plans changed and I needed to modify my booking, the front desk was very helpful in assisting us with the platform. Environment: Only book this hotel if you're comfortable with a minimalist and simple style. The room overall has no excessive decorations; it's plain white, clean, and naturally simple. (If you can't accept this, don't put yourself through it.) Facilities: The facilities definitely need major improvement!! Firstly, the frosted film on the bathroom door is too short and too transparent. It would be very awkward to use the toilet or shower if you weren't with family 😅. Secondly, the light outside the door doesn't turn off at night and kept me awake (picture 5)… Finally, and most importantly, the bathroom floor isn't sloped?! This causes shower water to pool near the door instead of naturally flowing to the drain. By the end of a shower, your feet are standing in dirty water, and the floor was still wet when we woke up the next day (last picture). If there wasn't a small step between the bathroom and the outside, the water would have overflowed. Hygiene: Overall hygiene is just average. There was dust in many corners, and even on the pillows. I was too tired to make a fuss, so I just wiped it myself.

The hotel is conveniently located about 200 meters from Dali's famous influencer bridge. There's a local fresh market right next to it, so you can grab a quick bite in the morning, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby for dinner. The rooms are comparable to a Home Inn or Super 8, maybe even a bit better. Just a heads up, one side of the hotel faces a building very closely, so the view might be obstructed. The only downside is the lack of a private parking lot; you'll need to use the paid parking at the nearby market. Otherwise, everything else is pretty good.
