The Guyue Xianlai Hotel is probably the closest hotel to the entrance and exit within Ideal Bang Santorini. Santorini is huge and has many hotels. I chose this one because of its high ratings, and it definitely lived up to expectations. Outside vehicles aren't allowed past the main gate, so I notified the butler 10 minutes in advance for the shuttle to pick me up. The hotel is very welcoming, the room is spacious, and breakfast is a set menu with fruit, rice noodles, noodles, coffee, and milk, all of which were good. The hotel environment is excellent and peaceful, and the rooms are pure white. It's also convenient for exploring, though the steep slopes outside might be challenging for older guests with mobility issues. The hotel service is great; since there's no elevator, the butler helped carry my luggage to the room. Overall, it was an excellent experience. The surrounding area is also fantastic. I even decided to skip visiting Shuanglang and Wase. Five-star rating!
This stay truly exceeded my expectations! The view from the window was stunning, and the environment was quiet and comfortable. The room was exceptionally clean, with every corner spotless, and the bathroom had no unpleasant odors. The separate wet and dry areas were very practical. The room was fully equipped with a smart toilet, rain shower, and other amenities, and the toiletries were thoughtfully chosen and very convenient. The housekeeper, A-Feng, was warm, attentive, and proactive, making me feel very welcome. Overall, the stay was comfortable and reassuring, completely meeting my expectations. I highly recommend it!
Following the travel guide provided by the owner, we visited some incredibly scenic spots. The owner also recommended many delicious restaurants and snack bars that offered great taste at reasonable prices. The hotel's location is fantastic, with parking right outside and an elevator, which is super convenient for elderly guests and those with luggage. The owners, a husband and wife duo, are incredibly warm and attentive. They made sure we had plenty of bottled water, and our room was spotless and well-maintained. The decor is stylish and modern, perfect for couples, and the facilities are comprehensive. The hot water supply was excellent with strong water pressure, making for a very comfortable bath in the tub. The smart voice-controlled curtains opened up to a stunning sea view, which was a lovely touch. We were especially touched when the owner offered us a free ride to the airport for our late-night flight, as it was difficult for us to arrange transport with our elderly parents and children. Given the affordable price, the owners' exceptional hospitality, and the cleanliness, this hotel left a deep impression on us. If we ever come back to Dali, we'll definitely choose this place again.
The room was quite spacious and clean. The hotel was also located near some great photo spots. There were many beautiful cafes nearby. I thought the hotel had a swimming pool, but it turns out the pool is only available for certain room types. However, it's too cold for swimming đ. A shuttle car was available to pick you to and from the hotel and the gate . Breakfast at the hotel had two options: Chinese rice noodles and Western Spaghetti & Omelette, and they were tasty. The housekeeper Xiao Luo and Fei Fei are very helpful Xixi in explaining via WeChat as we don't understand Chinese.
The hotel room offers a great view of Erhai Lake, and parking is convenient. They also provide a delightful afternoon tea, and the drinks and breakfast main courses feature unique Dali characteristics, which I absolutely loved đĽ°. There are restaurants on both sides, and it's only a 5-6 minute walk to Santorini, which is very convenient. There's a bus stop right outside the entrance that goes to the high-speed rail station. The service is also excellent. Highly recommended! [Strong][Strong]
Traveling to Dali, staying at the Songyun Banshan Seaview Hotel was undoubtedly the most delightful surprise. Our butler, Allen, was attentive and available 24/7. The hotel is nestled in the Ideal State Resort Town in Haidong, backed by the lush green Cangshan Mountains and facing the azure Erhai Lake. Its pure white Santorini-style architecture, built into the hillside, blends seamlessly with the blue sky and sea, making it feel like a romantic Mediterranean getaway â truly stunning and stylish.
Stepping into the hotel, I was immediately captivated by the unique cave-style design. Arched doorways, a cactus garden, and cliffside gardens are artfully arranged, with every corner offering a perfect photo opportunity for quality snapshots. The tiered infinity pool in the public area is particularly breathtaking; its waters merge flawlessly with Erhai Lake. In the evening, the sunset casts a shimmering glow on the water, creating an incredibly romantic ambiance.
Our room offered both quality and comfort. It was spacious and bright, with 270-degree panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows and a private balcony that provided sweeping views of the magnificent Cangshan Mountains and Erhai Lake. We could watch the sunrise and vibrant sunsets from bed, and even fall asleep under a starry sky. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, the bathroom featured a Dyson hairdryer and Hermès toiletries, and the smart home system was convenient and thoughtfulâevery detail showed careful consideration. Some room types even boasted private heated plunge pools, allowing us to soak and enjoy the sea view in ultimate relaxation.
The service was nothing short of perfect. Allen, our butler, was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. From arranging airport transfers before our arrival to planning itineraries and recommending local cuisine after check-in, the staff were responsive and accommodating to all our requests. The hotel's dining was equally impressive. Breakfast was rich and varied, offering Yunnan rice noodles, matsutake omelets, and rose jam yogurt, which could even be delivered to our terrace to be enjoyed with the view â pure bliss! The restaurant downstairs served local specialties like mushroom hotpot and Bai-style sour and spicy fish, all made with fresh, authentic ingredients. The complimentary afternoon tea was exquisite and delicious, enjoyed on the terrace with a sea breeze â so pleasant and relaxing.
The hotel's location is excellent and easily accessible, about a 15-minute drive from Dali Airport, and surrounded by attractions like Xiao Putuo and Shuanglang Ancient Town, making travel very convenient. The overall environment is quiet and private, away from the hustle and bustle of the ancient city, making it an ideal place for a relaxing getaway and peaceful moments. Whether for romantic couples, friends traveling together, or family vacations, Songyun Banshan Seaview Hotel delivers an experience that exceeds expectations. With its superb scenery, high-end facilities, and attentive service, you won't want to leave. It's definitely the top choice for accommodation in Dali, highly recommended. I will choose to stay here again on my next visit to Dali!
Looking for a peaceful escape from the city bustle, this hotel completely exceeded my expectations! The room design was incredibly soothing. Every morning I woke up to the sunrise over Erhai Lake, and pulling back the curtains revealed the breathtaking panoramic views of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. Just sitting by the window, daydreaming or reading, helped me completely unwind. The smart amenities were super convenient; I could control everything by voice, adjusting the room's settings without lifting a finger, which was perfect for someone who enjoys solitude. The cleanliness was reassuring â even the mirrors and glass were spotless, making the room feel incredibly bright and airy. The staff were all very welcoming but never intrusive; they even came out to the roadside to greet me when I arrived past 9 PM. In the alleyways behind the hotel, there are so many hidden gem restaurants; both the beef hotpot and firewood chicken were incredibly authentic and offered great value for money. I stayed here for three days, and every day felt so unhurried. It was a truly wonderful experience for unwinding, and I'll definitely be back!
I was really happy with the room's decor. The view outside was great; even though I didn't get a full sea view room, the partial sea view was still lovely. If I get to stay here again, I'll definitely choose a full sea view room. The front desk staff (the 'little brother' as we say in Chinese for a young male staff member) were super friendly and attentive. All in all, I was quite satisfied. They offered some complimentary travel photos, which I thought turned out pretty well, so I ended up buying a few more. It was a very happy and memorable vacation! đđ
As someone who loves taking photos, the estate itself is a natural studio:
the sea-view soaking tubs, the retro French-style corridors, the South France castle, the exotic Moroccan courtyard â everywhere is perfect for snapping pictures. I took so many beautiful photos, I'm thrilled!
I especially want to commend the service: airport transfers, help with luggage, afternoon tea, goodnight desserts, breakfast, and a dedicated private butler service group. The attention to detail was impeccable, and they were always ready to assist! My dress for photos got dirty dragging on the ground, and they even helped me wash and dry it. All the hotel staff were so warm; I truly felt like a VIP.
Lovely host! Very friendly, and greeted us with warm hospitality which is greatly appreciated!
Many photo spots, nice sunset coast with great aircon and amenities, breakfast is really good too
Complimentary high tea is good ! You need to stay more time in there to enjoy the scenic view đđť

GGuest UserIt is highly recommended that tourists who come to Ideal Bang or Haidong to live in this house. It is really clean and the small courtyard is very comfortable. I feel that it is not enough for a day. The most comfortable place to live in Dali, the room is also big, squatting toilets and toilets are available, taking into account different living habits, very good ď˝
GGuest UserI often travel and have high requirements for hotels. I compared more than 10 hotels online that day and visited several of them in person. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this one. The hotel is brand new and the whole house is smart. The boss is a decoration wizard. It can be seen that the decoration is perfect everywhere and very user-friendly. There are washing machines and clothes drying areas. The rooftop is a leisure area. Friends can go up to watch Erhai Lake together, drink beer đş and eat barbecue. Book a room with sea view and open the curtains to see Erhai Lake. It is beautiful. The double-layer soundproof glass makes the room very quiet. You can also open the starry sky ceiling at night. It is very romantic. Children downstairs can play in the water and catch fish by the Erhai Lake. There is also a row of coffee streets. It is very pleasant to sit down and watch Erhai Lake and drink a cup of coffee. The photos were taken when it was almost dark that day. The original camera was taken directly without any filters. The sea view will be more beautiful if you take them earlierđ
GGuest UserThe hotel is located in a villa area, which is a bit remote, but the overall feeling is very warm and cozy, like being at home, and there's even an adorable kitten. The room was thoughtfully decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. The only downside was that the sink was too close to the bed.
EE3402****The hotel's location and facilities alone deserve a 9 out of 10. It's by the sea with stunning views, and the room amenities are all from top brands: Toto bathroom fixtures, Midea air conditioning, a Xiaomi projector, and a smart smart speaker. The interior design is reminiscent of a Santorini cliffside hotel. The main drawbacks are that there was only one person to greet us. Because we needed to climb stairs, we wanted to call ahead to ask for help with our luggage, but none of the numbers provided by Ctrip answered, so we had to climb up ourselves to call for help. The booking showed afternoon tea included, but since there was only one staff member, there was nothing. The room lock was also initially faulty. The next day, breakfast was scheduled for 8:30 am, and we needed to check out at 9 am. We wanted to ask for help with our luggage, but there was no elevator, and our room was on the 4th floor. With an elderly person and a child, two suitcases were difficult to carry, and there were also many high steps leading from the lobby to the parking lot. However, the young man at the front desk said he wouldn't start work until 9 am, and only one kitchen worker was cooking. The food wasn't served until after 8:40 am, making our meal very rushed. In the end, we had to ask the kitchen worker to help carry our luggage downstairs, but she could only carry one suitcase, and we had to carry the other ourselves. Everyone I asked said the owner had been out for the past few days. I just checked my booking and it showed an upgrade to a room and welcome fruit, but those didn't happen. The facilities seemed great, but the service experience was extremely poor.
GGuest UserI just stayed at this homestay and I have to praise it!
đżThe environment is superb, the courtyard is like a small garden, with lush green plants and cute swings, it's very comfortable to sit on. You can overlook the mountains and rivers from the room window, the view is excellent, watch the clouds roll by during the day, and fall asleep with the moonlight at night, it's so healing~
đď¸The room facilities are very attentive, the bedding is as soft as clouds, and the Marshall speakers play music, the atmosphere is full. There is also the built-in bathtub, taking a bath is comfortable, full of detailsđŻ
đąThe breakfast is an exquisite nine-square grid, rich and healthy, corn, buns, grains with milk, super satisfying, start a day full of energy~
The butler service is also very considerate, and any needs are responded to in seconds. This stay experience is great, I have recommended it to my friends, and I will stay here next time!
AAnonymous UserI stumbled upon this incredible hotel in Dali, and it felt like a dream. Opening the window revealed stunning views of Cangshan Snow and Erhai Moon. The shimmering water in the morning mist and boats returning at sunset, every moment was like a scene from a movie. The room has a minimalist design with international brand furniture, including collector-grade sofas â I absolutely loved it! The attention to detail is remarkable, showing how much effort the owner and staff put in. The butler was warm and attentive, helping us plan our itinerary and book specialty restaurants. They even gave us homemade flower cakes when we left. Next time I'm in Dali, I'm definitely staying here again!
SSPrathz3 of us stayed here for two nights, and the hospitality was excellent. From the evening tea, free walnuts to helping with our luggages and guiding us on where to go, everything was well taken care of. The room was clean and you can always ask for help if needed. We went to Erhai Lake on the first day to feed seagulls. You can watch sunset from the room itself. On the second day, they helped us to book a driver for 400 yuan(9hours), he brought us to Erhai lake famous spot,Xi Zhou town, S bend lake, Dali ancient city and to a store to buy snacks for cheaper price. It was a wonderful trip. On our last day, we took a private van from hotel to Lijiang hotel.
GGuest UserLangyue Hotel is beautifully situated by Erhai Lake in Wenbi Village. The garden at the entrance is absolutely stunning, with every corner offering a fantastic photo opportunity. The staff at the hotel were also incredibly welcoming and attentive.
I arrived at the hotel after 10 PM, feeling quite unwell due to motion sickness from the journey. The hotel was almost fully booked at the time, with only one room left. The front desk staff member was incredibly thoughtful; he proactively helped me with my luggage, first escorted me to my room to rest and relax, and then brought a QR code up to my room later for check-in. This was truly exceptional service.
The next morning at breakfast, the lovely lady in charge of the breakfast area enthusiastically helped me put on a Bai ethnic hat, patiently showing me how to wear it more elegantly. Her service was both warm and patient.
The room itself was also very comfortable, and the garden and balcony offered beautiful views. It was a stunning photo opportunity in itself; I filmed several short videos and took some photos to share.
Once again, thank you, Langyue Hotel, for not only providing comfortable accommodation but also delivering a truly uplifting and memorable experience. đ
AAnonymous UserMuch better than the photo. No air conditioning, but not cold.
No hot water in the morning. It is recommended to add disposable slippers. Rubber slippers are recommended to change to a clean look.
