The amenities were great, with high-quality products such as a Dyson hair dryer and Bioderma cleanser. There was one laundromat, but it was enough."

"The room was quite spacious and clean. The hotel was also located near some great photo spots. There were many beautiful cafes nearby. I thought the hotel had a swimming pool, but it turns out the pool is only available for certain room types.However, it's too cold for swimming 😄. A shuttle car was available to pick you to and from the hotel and the gate . Breakfast at the hotel had two options: Chinese rice noodles and Western Spaghetti & Omelette, and they were tasty. The housekeeper Xiao Luo and Fei Fei are very helpful Xixi in explaining via WeChat as we don't understand Chinese."

The only possible downside for guests wanting to spend time in Dali ancient city is that one would need to commute for approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. The heated pool had children's floats available, and the service was thoughtful, even providing kids' toiletries. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options. It's very close to the Erhai Lake Greenway, making it stress-free and comfortable for family travel. Getting to and from the ancient city was convenient, and our whole family was very satisfied."

As for the food, the breakfast is served as a set menu. And we loved the free afternoon tea, fruits, and coffee. The room itself was clean, spacious, fully stocked, and had a lovely mountain view. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to stay close to the Old Town!"

"Firstly the location is excellent, right near one of the gates into the ancient city. The street it is on is very busy with restaurants and shops all the way along, yet the rooms are quiet. The room was a very good size and the whole asthetics are pleasing and different. The bed was comfortable with air conditioning that you could control. I would have like some tea or coffee available for use as it is a basic thing and not available even at breakfast, AND there is so much tea and coffee shops around. I will say I saw some tea set up at the lobby area, but because no English was spoken by any staff, I am guessing they simply were not able to translate. The staff at the front desk were friendly and sent me a pre written message in English telling me about breakfast (limited but useful and quite nice). The only gripe about the room was the musty smell from the bathroom, and while the little window was open to ventelate the room, it was noisy from outside...so shutting the window at night solved the issue. Towels etc were changed every day and were nice quality. The curtains were good for blocking out light and I had 3 good nights sleep. There are nice little areas to sit and there is a nice little garden with views from the roof. Overall, this is a good hotel with only minor things being of any issue. The location and asthetics are excellent."

The afternoon tea was not only delicious but also beautifully presented and very hygienic. The location is also excellent, making it easy to get around, and the surrounding air is fresh. Taking a deep breath, you get that unique, refreshing feeling of Dali. What touched me most was the service. It was genuinely thoughtful, not just a routine politeness, but truly treating you like a valued guest. I felt completely comfortable throughout my stay, and in fact, kept thinking, 'I wish I could stay a few more days.' I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing break in Dali. The sea view and atmosphere here are something photos just can't capture; you really need to experience it for yourself."
