MM227153****It was a very pleasant stay. The atmosphere at CYC was fantastic, with separate work and activity areas where everyone could participate in various activities according to their interests. The community manager, Daoming, was also very attentive and professional, quickly resolving some initial accommodation issues. My stay was very comfortable for the next few days. We even had hot pot together and enjoyed music and singing – it was a wonderful time. There's also a garden nearby, which was less crowded and had a lovely environment. Overall, I highly recommend it! I'd love to come back again!

TTanghuyouFacilities: The facilities are very cozy; you can cast screens and watch movies in the common area. Everything feels up-to-date and not old or worn out, adding to the overall ambiance.
Hygiene: It's very clean, with staff tidying up daily, which really sets it apart from other hostels.
Environment: The hotel is located right in the ancient city, making it convenient to get anywhere. Although it's tucked away in a small alley, it perfectly captures the charming feel of an old town shop.
Service: The manager, Xiao Mei, has an exceptionally kind and thoughtful service attitude. She genuinely cares and checks in with guests daily. The other volunteers are also very friendly, and the food they make is outstanding. The hostel also offers electric scooter rentals, making it very convenient for a trip around Erhai Lake. I will definitely stay here again!

GGuest UserI‘m very happy with my experience here, the bed was extremely comfortable, the room was clean and had everything I needed. The host were extremely kind and helpful and they had a very sweet dog!
They only speak Chinese, so if you don‘t speak Chinese I would recommend having a translator app close by.

GGuest UserI was a little scared when I first got on the bus into the village, but after entering it exceeded my expectations! Being able to stay in a hotel with such facilities at this price next to the airport is really cost-effective.
It is a restaurant and accommodation integrated into one. Meals can be packed and sent upstairs to eat. I ordered sweet and sour pork ribs and stir-fried vegetables, which were delicious.
The rooms are newly decorated, better than hotels in the city. TV, WiFi, air conditioning, bathroom all worked cleanly and in good condition. The shower is a piano-key four-speed shower, so comfortable! There was a little problem with the WiFi in the middle. They came to fix it right away after I called. It was much more efficient than other hotels 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
It's super close to the airport, about ten minutes drive, and you can take me to the airport at around five in the morning, thank you 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

AAnonymous UserAround 10min walk from railway station to the hotel. The host is lovely and she allows us for an early check in. The room size is quite small for 4 ppl but we stay here for 1 night so it’s acceptable with price and location. The location is perfect, few minute walk to bus station no.4 and you can just take this bus all the way to three pagoda, or Dali old town. From Dali old town, you can also take didi to the famous lake. Dali old town is very happening at night.

HHuhuyaThe beautiful things in Dali are not in the ancient city. I personally feel that Haidong is much more beautiful than Haixi, especially Santorini Utopia and Wenbi Village. However, the location of this store is still quite good, right in the Fenghuaxueyue Market. The boss's son recited Li Bai's poems, which he recited too late and the noise was also loud. The privacy of the room is not very good, just facing the main entrance of the inn, but the sanitation is still quite clean, and it is not a bunk bed but a single bed. The geographical location is still quite good, very close to those Renmin Streets and so on, very suitable for visiting the ancient city at night, but the prices in the ancient city are ridiculously high, you can only look and don't buy...

AAnonymous UserTraveling alone can be incredibly fun, especially with you all. Taoxi boasts a fantastic location near the North Gate of the old town, directly opposite Sanyue Street. Despite being close to these bustling areas, it's surprisingly quiet. I absolutely loved the huge floor-to-ceiling window, offering views of lush trees where little squirrels often play. The sunken area was our favorite spot; you could find a quiet corner to read or sit on cushions and play chess. At Taoxi, I met many like-minded travelers, and we often shared rides and meals. The owner is super nice, and the volunteer staff (both male and female) are incredibly interesting. I've even started to love lemonade with mint leaves. I'll definitely be back once everything settles down.

GGuest UserThe usual hostel is undergoing renovations at the moment, so the actual accommodation is around the corner. I was quite lost until I texted the 'late entrance' phone number by chance and the owners father found me.
There is no bar, pool table or restaurant currently accessible but I'm sure it will be great when it reopens.
The room was lovely but very cold with a big gap under the door and a hole the size of a postcard in the bathroom. I think a more updated profile to reflect current amenities would be beneficial.
