GGuest UserAfter a lot of careful consideration before my trip, I chose this hotel with a beachfront room, and it was absolutely the right decision! The hotel is so comfortable, and our butler was incredibly attentive. We were a family of two adults and one child, and they provided an extra bed for free. You can enjoy the sea view right from your bed, and just by opening the curtains, you can bask in the sun while admiring the Cangshan Mountains and Erhai Lake – it’s just unbelievably relaxing. The breakfast and afternoon tea were both thoughtfully prepared and felt very special. As the sun began to set, many seagulls flew by, and we could see flocks of seagulls and ducks from our room's balcony. This place is truly somewhere I could visit a thousand times over; I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Dali.

GGuest UserExtremely satisfied! The room was spotless and cleaned daily. The front desk staff was very patient, even offering shuttle service to and from Anxin Pharmacy with Da Zhuang (the dog!). The breakfast rice noodles were incredibly delicious. The hotel is located by Erhai Lake, a bit of a distance from Panxi S Bay, so it's very quiet. And then there's Da Zhuang, who will always run to you when you call his name. Next time I'm in Erhai, I'll definitely choose to stay at Mujingzi again!

GGuest UserThis is my seventh time in Dali, and it's the best hotel I've stayed in out of five! First off, the room layout was exactly to my liking. I could lie in bed and watch the sunrise over Erhai Lake, and there was a sofa area, a round dining table, and a large bathtub by the floor-to-ceiling windows – definitely added to the relaxing vacation vibe! The bathroom fixtures were Kohler, and the walk-in closet and vanity area were very spacious. The curtains were automatic, and the AC and curtain controls were right by the bed, which was very convenient. The breakfast was unbeatable – braised chicken wings, braised beef brisket, honey-glazed ribs, and spiced beef. Being able to enjoy a buffet until noon was seriously impressive; I'd call it the ultimate spread. I also have to commend the daily fruit plate and goodnight dessert. Other places only offer it on the first day, but here, I stayed three days and got it every day – incredibly thoughtful. The hotel's front and back yards were also fantastic. My kids loved the slide and swings in the back, and the succulent boat was thriving. The parking lot was also spacious. The nearby ecological corridor had great photo spots, and there were lots of seagulls. When I checked out, I even received a parting gift, and there was a self-service fridge with drinks and beer. A perfect 100-point review, I'll definitely be back!

GGuest UserWuyun was our second stop for accommodation in Dali. Although the room was a bit cramped for a family of three, the hotel's surroundings were absolutely stunning. The pure white aesthetic perfectly complements Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain. Guests can enjoy unlimited complimentary coffee and beverages, plus a special 'goodnight dessert' of peach gum and white fungus soup. The hotel's toiletries were also excellent, and the white toiletry bag was perfect for my child to store their art supplies. Right outside, there's a parking spot for electric scooters. We booked the 'Painting Scroll Room' with a private terrace. It was so relaxing to bask in the sun, sip coffee, listen to music, and read. The only downside was the strong winds in Dali during winter, haha. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Dali! Oh, I almost forgot to mention how beautiful the breakfast restaurant was. The yogurt and muesli, combined with the ambiance, reminded me of the French countryside.

GGuest UserThe hotel environment is great, and the service is excellent. The hotel contacted us in advance, and coffee and tea are available for free at any time. The room is also very spacious, and it even has a smart assistant (Xiao Du Xiao Du) to turn off lights, close curtains, and play music. The staff (young men and women) were also very helpful with luggage – service is a perfect 10! The room wasn't cold at all, even in February!

GGuest UserThe room was well-equipped, and the quality was excellent. Stepping out, I found a beautiful garden with perfect lighting during the day, making every photo Instagram-worthy.
The service was top-notch, truly butler-style. They helped with luggage and even collected my takeout, all very thoughtfully and naturally. Breakfast was simple but satisfying, and I could always ask for more. When I was checking out, the owner heard I was driving to Lijiang and specifically recommended taking the Niusha route, suggesting a stop at Shaxi Ancient Town first before heading to Lijiang. The drive was stunning; the scenery in Eryuan was just as beautiful as Erhai Lake, quiet and expansive.
From Shaxi, it was only about an hour's drive to Lijiang, making the whole trip leisurely and unhurried.
I particularly want to thank the owner and staff for making me feel so at home. Oh, and the owner has three super cute cats, which were an unexpected highlight of my trip!

MM55355****Cangshan No. 1 is a hotel with advanced concepts. The management model is a team of butlers who create a feeling of home for guests and think of everything in front of them.
The environment is beautiful and beautiful, with swimming pools, white beaches, coconut trees... creating a different paradise.
Every employee has a strong sense of priority and their service attitude is excellent, gentle and comfortable. Not only did he take the initiative to inquire, but he also introduced the characteristics and customs of the Bai people in a very thoughtful way.
The room was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. Each room has its own bathing pool, dry and wet are separated, and even the toilet is fully automatic. Very clean!
Breakfast and afternoon tea are richly prepared and have local characteristics. There is also a heart-warming evening sweet soup every night. My family and I felt that choosing Cangshan No. 1 for this trip was a great value!

TTraveling Family from GermanyWe had a very smooth experience from arrival to departure. The hotel organised a transfer from Dali Railway Station, which worked perfectly. Upon arrival, we were immediately helped with our luggage. Check-in was straightforward and worked without any issues for foreign guests. Basic English is spoken, which is fully sufficient for communication.
The hotel itself is small and built in a beautiful traditional Chinese style, with a lot of wood and a charming inner courtyard with warm lighting in the evening. The rooms are duplex-style: a cosy living room downstairs and a rustic bedroom upstairs, plus a balcony with a lovely view of the surrounding mountain peaks. The design feels authentic and calm. Bathrooms are slightly lower in height, so guests above 1.80m might find them a bit tight. Cleanliness throughout the property is excellent. Despite the traditional architecture, all modern comforts are available: fast and stable internet, strong heating in both living room and bedroom (important in winter), and a generally very comfortable atmosphere.
The location is near the Three Pagodas, just outside the main tourist development zone. You can walk to the first restaurants within minutes, and there is even a local restaurant directly next to the hotel. The Three Pagodas are within very easy walking distance, and from there you can conveniently use DiDi or rental scooters to reach other sights around Dali.
Breakfast can be taken either in a small dining room or delivered to the room. It is local Chinese style, adapted to the region, very tasty and served with a smile. Great coffee is available.
Checkout was simple, and the hotel arranged our return transfer as well. We even received a small souvenir gift per room, which was a very thoughtful touch.
Overall, this hotel is a real highlight in Dali. It feels like stepping back in time, but without sacrificing modern comfort. It is ideal both for exploring the main attractions and for simply relaxing in a quiet, peaceful setting away from the busier city areas.
