The decor and design were fantastic. The renovation of the historic building is quite unique, and the courtyard is breathtaking.
The housekeeping service was excellent, and any requests were promptly addressed.
The breakfast was also delicious, featuring some unique dishes.
I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Yunnan.

RRenshenggouqielaibeinatieFound a gem! Booked for eight nights straight. Before coming to Dali, I was overwhelmed by the sheer number of B&Bs, but this one didn't disappoint. Its location is perfect, just across from the ancient city, and there are plenty of food delivery options nearby. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast – how many B&Bs in Dali can say that? Although it's a B&B, both the facilities and services are up to hotel standards, definitely a solid 4.5 stars, if not 5. Yet, it still retains the warmth of a B&B owner, giving you a wonderful 'home away from home' feeling! I've experienced both the 'starry sky' room and the room with a hot tub. The hot tub in the 'starry sky' room is indoors, while the other is in the room's small courtyard. I was initially worried if it would be too cold or too sunny in February, and if there'd be enough hot water. As a 'Northeast old iron' (a term for someone from Northeast China, implying resilience), I can confirm that my family of three used it every single day!

1. Location:
Walking distance to everything. 1-200 meters to ancient town main street.
2. Facilities:
The homestay is locates right by the Erhai lake with wonderful view throughout the day. I stayed in a room without direct lake view but there is a restaurant and lobby with very nice decoration where we took a lot of lake photos.
The common scenic spot on 3F is unique and very beautiful. I got a free photoshoot by professional photographer also, he's really nice and quick-witted. We had some very nice photos.
The room is clean and well-maintained (I got free upgraded to a bigger room, assumed becuz of the off-season). We had everything we need. Open the window and the room is always full of fresh air, there is a window net to prevent insects in place.
The breakfast included in room fare was a big nice surprise also. The preparation looked wholehearted, the food was fresh and like a mini buffet, simple yet sumptious. I don't think we can get something like that at outside restaurants for under 100y/pax.
3. Customer service:
The BEST part of this facilities. The staff (Xiao Yang, Xiao Zhi, Pei jie) are so friendly, patient and always went out and beyond their way to make the guests feel comfortable:
- They called 1 day ahead of the stay to confirm details and even helped me book local carpooling to save money
- They helped me take the luggage from car drop-off to hotel (a short walk as the homestay is located within the ancient town, car cannot go in)
- They answered literally every request in very fast manner
- Nice little F&B freebies are soooooo nice

Shuanglang itself is a very chill and relaxing place to visit in Dali, wonderful for people who like to wander and enjoy the view. But the experience at this homestay made it 10 times better for me and my husband. Would definitely recommend to friends and come back if I visit Shuanglang again.

1. 地理位置： 走路去哪儿都方便，离双廊古镇主街只有一两百米，超级近！
2. 设施环境： 民宿就在洱海边上，一整天都有超赞的湖景。虽然我住的房间不是正对湖景，但餐厅和大厅的装修很有氛围，我们在那拍了好多洱海美照。 三楼的公共观景台也很特别，真的很美！还有专业摄影师免费帮我们拍照，人超好又机灵，照片效果很棒～ 房间干净又维护得很好（可能因为淡季还免费升级了大房间，赚到了）。该有的都有，窗户一开就是新鲜空气，还有纱窗防蚊虫，贴心！ 房价里包含的早餐也是惊喜，看得出是用心准备的，食材新鲜，像个迷你自助餐，简单却丰盛。外面餐厅要吃到这种水平估计得100块/人以上了。
3. 服务体验： 最最最加分的就是服务！小杨、小志、沛姐人都超好，耐心又热情，真的把客人当朋友照顾：
入住前一天就打电话确认，还帮我订了当地拼车，省了不少钱
到了之后还帮我从停车点把行李搬到民宿（因为古镇里车进不去）
有求必应，回复速度超快
还有各种小吃小饮料免费送，太贴心了！ 简直是五星级酒店的服务标准，在地道民宿里体验到了 😂
双廊本身就是个很适合放松、随便走走看看风景的地方。但这次住在这家民宿，让我和老公的旅程幸福感直接翻十倍！强烈推荐给朋友们～下次来双廊一定还住这里！

The moment we made the booking, the service desk was extremely responsive, addressing all our queries via WeChat.
Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by two staff members who waited patiently for us despite the chilly breeze. They efficiently took care of our luggage, ensuring a seamless check-in process.
The rooms offered breathtaking views and a refreshing breeze, further enhanced by the delightful welcome tea break snacks. The rooms were well-equipped with essential amenities, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches, including a projector that allowed us to enjoy a fun karaoke session.
To top it all off, the staff even prepared an early breakfast for us, which was truly appreciated.

GGuest UserThe owner was so nice, even helping us move our luggage when we switched rooms. The auntie was also very gentle. The room was quite pretty and they even gave us a small fruit basket. I'm very happy with the hotel, just be sure to avoid the electric scooter rental next door. Make sure you know the going rates, otherwise it's super easy to get ripped off.

I was truly blown away by this hotel when I came to Dali 😭. Backed by Cangshan Mountain and facing Erhai Lake, it offers a 270° panoramic view of Erhai Lake + the entire Dali Ancient City. The view is absolutely divine!
It's a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, very close to the ancient city yet completely avoiding the crowds and noise. The public areas, courtyard, and terrace are all picture-perfect. The pure white, Instagrammable style combined with Wabi-sabi aesthetics feels both luxurious and timeless.
Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the bedding was super soft. The toiletries and little details were all top-notch. The 24-hour butler service was attentive without being intrusive.
Watching the clouds drift by during the day, chasing the orange sunset over the sea in the evening, and simply relaxing with the breeze at night – this is the true meaning of a Dali vacation ✨.
If you're coming to Dali and want somewhere quiet, photogenic, and with an incredible view, then look no further than Yuanshanhai. You won't regret it, go for it!

MM507417****This place truly made me feel at home. I arrived at the hotel starving after my business trip, heading straight into a solo vacation. The owner's father personally picked me up from the airport and even made me a warm bowl of noodles. The rest of my stay was wonderful. The room had an unbeatable location; I could see Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain the moment I woke up, and enjoyed both sunrise and sunset, plus the evening 'fish lanterns'. Reading, sunbathing, and feeling the breeze from Erhai Lake on the balcony – it was incredibly relaxing. The only downside was that the room was so comfortable, I barely wanted to leave to explore! The owner, knowing I was tired, even brought my takeout right to my room. I wish all hard-working people like them continued success!

I looked at a lot of hotels in Dali and found this one. The location is indeed a bit out of the way, outside the ancient city, so you'll need navigation to find it.
**Service:**
Excellent! Throughout my stay, the staff's attitude in arranging things and helping me understand everything about the surroundings was superb.
**Cleanliness:**
The room was very clean. The hotel seems quite new, so the whole room felt great. The room they assigned me also had a view of the outside, essentially four floor-to-ceiling windows, and even a small balcony. It was really wonderful and beautiful.
I'm Uncle Ben, a man from China who believes in kindness and charm, and I highly recommend this place.

TTiansanshijiushiwoyaThis is my fifth time vacationing in Dali, and it's been a really busy year. Dali is such a relaxing city. I stayed at the Jupiter Castle Hotel once before, right after it opened, and it left a deep impression. So I returned to Wenbi Village. Compared to a few years ago, Wenbi Village's commercial offerings are much more developed, and this hotel's service is even more meticulous. The overall aesthetic is perfect for photos. My room booking included complimentary pick-up service from Dali Airport, taking me directly to the hotel. The butler kept in touch throughout my stay. That very evening, I saw a 'burning cloud' sunset, which hadn't appeared for many days. The next morning, I witnessed the rare sight of the sun illuminating Cangshan Mountain. Wenbi Village is situated at an elevation that offers a panoramic view of Cangshan and Erhai Lake, arguably one of the best locations. Although it's been open for three or four years, the hotel is very well-maintained. The mini-fridge was stocked with many complimentary items, including face masks, jellies, and drinks, all free to enjoy. The hygiene was impeccable, and the overall environment was fantastic. Just staying in the room, curled up on the sofa, with the warm sunlight streaming in and bathing me, instantly made all the stress and exhaustion from work disappear. Thank you, Dali, and thank you, Jupiter Castle, for making this trip so perfect. I'll definitely stay here again next time I get the chance!
