The decor and design were fantastic. The renovation of the historic building is quite unique, and the courtyard is breathtaking.
The housekeeping service was excellent, and any requests were promptly addressed.
The breakfast was also delicious, featuring some unique dishes.
I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Yunnan.

WWudiniangaozaiThis guesthouse was one of the accommodations I was most looking forward to during my trip to Dali, and I'm so glad it met my expectations! I didn't do much research before booking; I just stumbled upon a recommendation on a social media platform, and the view looked so amazing that I booked it right away. First, let's talk about the location. Since I didn't read up much beforehand, I only realized upon arrival that there are very few dining options nearby – almost no restaurants at all. Luckily, we had rented a car, which made things a bit easier. The owner is incredibly thoughtful and provides excellent service, helping with luggage and giving great recommendations. The resident cat, Saipan, is a bit aloof but very good-tempered; you can pet him all you want. It's a shame I only stayed for a short time. The view from this room type is fantastic, and in the evening, with the lights on, it feels so warm and cozy. I hope to come back and stay for a few days next time when I'm not in a hurry. Oh, and the room is also super photogenic!

GGuest UserThe guesthouse is conveniently located right next to Yang Liping's Moon Palace, offering stunning scenery. They provide complimentary electric tuk-tuk service for pick-up and drop-off during check-in and check-out.
The rooms are immaculately clean, and the rocking chairs are incredibly comfortable. Sitting there, reading a book and gazing at the sea, felt like pure bliss. From the balcony, you can enjoy tea and the views, and it truly felt like the whole world had quieted down.
The ground floor of the guesthouse is beautifully decorated with an abundance of flowers, featuring tea tables, high chairs, swings, easels, and even a unique bed platform with a mirrored surface. Guests can take their own fun photos or have the guesthouse's photographer capture their moments. This area also serves as the breakfast spot. The owner prepares a different breakfast daily for guests, complemented by afternoon fruit, and complimentary coffee and tea. Sometimes, even non-staying guests stop by for a coffee and to take some pictures.
I asked the owner why they don't put up a small sign at the street entrance. They explained that too much advertising would attract too many people and disturb the resident guests. I truly commend the local owner for their thoughtful and dedicated management of the guesthouse.
This is a highly recommended guesthouse in Shuanglang.

GGuest UserThis place truly made me feel at home. I arrived at the hotel starving after my business trip, heading straight into a solo vacation. The owner's father personally picked me up from the airport and even made me a warm bowl of noodles. The rest of my stay was wonderful. The room had an unbeatable location; I could see Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain the moment I woke up, and enjoyed both sunrise and sunset, plus the evening 'fish lanterns'. Reading, sunbathing, and feeling the breeze from Erhai Lake on the balcony – it was incredibly relaxing. The only downside was that the room was so comfortable, I barely wanted to leave to explore! The owner, knowing I was tired, even brought my takeout right to my room. I wish all hard-working people like them continued success!

GGuest UserThis hotel is located right at the beginning of the ecological corridor, not far from the high-speed train station. The corridor itself is quiet and uncrowded, with some really nice scenery. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was incredibly spacious with a fantastic view – you can literally pull open the curtains and watch the sunrise! I'd definitely consider staying here again if I'm ever back. Erhai Lake is a place that truly deserves to be savored.

CcharlottemomoThis past May Day holiday, I brought my family to Dali for a vacation ⛱️ and chose this South France-style guesthouse located in Haidong, where we stayed for 5 days.
From the moment our trip approached, the guesthouse thoughtfully set up a chat group with a butler who updated us on the weather and reminded us to pack appropriate clothes. Upon arrival, they helped us with our luggage and kindly informed us about afternoon tea 🫖 and late-night dessert 🍮 times, which was very considerate.
The guesthouse is located in Wenbi Village, a popular spot recently, and it's not too far from the airport, making the location quite convenient. Since the village is on a hill and parking spaces are scarce, the guesthouse arranged for our rental car to be parked at a nearby resident's lot and provided a shuttle service for transfers.
Traveling with a child this time, his favorite part was the large bathtub. Every evening, he eagerly looked forward to a milk bubble bath 🫧, and he also loved the Basque cheesecake for afternoon tea 🍰.
If I were to offer some suggestions, it would be to provide baby slippers, toothbrushes, and toothpaste for rooms with children. Perhaps also offer some parent-child interactive activities, like making flower cakes, which would be an even nicer touch. Also, the breakfast could be a bit more varied; after staying for several days, it got a little repetitive, haha. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay!

The room was bright, clean, and spotless, with a simple yet elegant decor that created a warm and inviting atmosphere. It was fully equipped and beautifully arranged with thoughtful touches. The bedding was soft and comfortable, perfectly conforming to my body, ensuring a peaceful and relaxing night's sleep.
Breakfast was delicious, authentic, and incredibly fresh, with a wide variety of dishes to suit different tastes. The ingredients were fresh and natural, making it a reliable and安心 meal. The area around the guesthouse was quiet and peaceful, full of local charm. The stay was comfortable and relaxing, offering incredible value for money. I wholeheartedly recommend it to friends and family, and I'll definitely choose this place again for future travels.
