AAnonymous UserYou can enjoy the beautiful Erhai Lake right from the hotel. The view outside is just as stunning as Longkan Wharf and the popular 'S' Bay, so there's no need to go anywhere else once you're here. There are even local photographers outside who can take great pictures. The hotel staff are excellent, and in the afternoon, they offer complimentary mini desserts like flower cakes, Pu'er wine, and a variety of beverages. The public areas are spacious, and the breakfast spread is fantastic, with both Chinese and Western options. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied!

From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the two Mo sisters and their adorable feline companions, Pirate (the black cat) and Sweet Tooth (the brown one).
Everything about this stay—from the location and decor to the impeccable cleanliness and service—deserves 10 stars. The Mo sisters are incredibly friendly, chatty, and helpful, making the entire place feel like a beautifully maintained, quaint home.
A few highlights:
Thoughtful Details: The beds come equipped with heating pads for colder nights, which was such a nice touch.
Amenities: I absolutely loved the peaceful courtyard and the rooftop area.
Service: They are very attentive; for instance, if you need brighter reading lights, you just have to ask.
The Atmosphere: The garden is lovingly cared for and adds so much to the vibe.
Even as a dedicated dog lover, I have to admit that Pirate and Sweet Tooth completely won me over. If you are looking for a stay with character and heart, this is it!

GGuest UserThe room facilities are great, and there's a big balcony where you can enjoy views of Cangshan Mountain. You can even see the Three Pagodas from the rooftop. The landlady is very friendly, and the breakfast she personally prepares is excellent, especially the large fried dough sticks. She also arranged for us to be picked up from the station. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

GGuest UserTraveling with my elderly parents, convenience was key, and I'm so glad we chose this hotel instead of staying in Haixi. Xiaguan District is where the locals live in Dali, and it's incredibly convenient for food, drinks, and entertainment. Right downstairs from the hotel, there are all sorts of local specialty restaurants. The hotel's location is excellent, and the views are simply stunning; you open the door and Erhai Lake is right there. The breakfast selection is rich, with rice noodles and regular noodles available all day. Since my elderly parents prefer simple dinners, we often asked the hotel to stir-fry two vegetable dishes and prepare some rice vermicelli for us, and they always accommodated our requests without hesitation. The service is truly exceptional – the front desk young lady was gentle and warm-hearted, and the restaurant young lady was also incredibly kind and enthusiastic. Overall, among all the hotel staff I've encountered, everyone, from the airport pick-up to the front desk and even the maintenance staff, was patient and welcoming. I would definitely choose this hotel again if I have the chance; it's particularly well-suited for families and friends traveling together.

Cleanliness: Very clean.
Environment: You can watch the sunrise by just pulling back the curtains. The garden outside is lovely, and the overall layout is very aesthetically pleasing. Every spot is perfect for photos, surrounded by beautiful flowers.
Service: They helped us with our luggage, recommended delicious food, and cooked breakfast. Both the auntie and the owner were very thoughtful.

GGuest UserFacilities: Very new and practical, plus there's an elevator, which is great for seniors. Not many B&Bs in the area have one.
Cleanliness: Superb! I was really worried that a B&B wouldn't be as clean as a hotel, but those fears completely disappeared when I arrived. It was spotless and reassuring.
Environment: Great location with absolutely stunning sea views. It's also very quiet, not noisy at all, perfect for a relaxing stay.
Service: Very attentive. From booking to departure, there was a dedicated butler service, always ready to help with anything we needed.

Situated on Yuji Island, you can enjoy the shimmering waters of Erhai Lake from a lounge chair on the terrace – a tranquil oasis right at your doorstep. The owner was incredibly welcoming and hospitable, and the hotel is filled with thoughtfully designed gardens and charming details, including a rooftop terrace perfect for photos! Beautiful scenery, the vibrant colors of Yunnan! Thank you to the butler for the attentive service! This is my first review on Ctrip, and I genuinely think this hotel is excellent! While my experience exploring Dali Ancient City was rather lukewarm, this hotel left a lasting impression.

Ssu_explorerI recently stayed here as a solo traveler, and this hotel was the highlight of my trip to Dali.
The hotel is located directly opposite the South Gate of Dali Old Town - truly steps away from the ancient city walls, only 3-4 mins walk yet it's quiet at night. There are also many delicious local eateries all within a 2-minute walk and also foot massage place. After you explore and have tired feet, I highly recommend that place - only 2 mins walk from the hotel. Calling a taxi (DiDi) to any attraction is also very convenient.
The hotel owner is an incredibly kind and genuine person. She made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Even though I speak very little mandarin, they made an effort to speak very slowly for me. The most memorable moment was when she invited me to join her and her friends for a home-cooked dinner at the hotel. As a solo traveler, that gesture of community was truly special and something I can't book on trip.com.
This hotel made my Dali trip unforgettable. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

AAnonymous UserFree parking outside the ancient city, the little brother will pick you up at the intersection. It's in the inner part near the sea. You can take pictures on the rooftop, which is good for physical strength. There is also breakfast in the morning, which is made by their local aunt, and it's super delicious rice noodles. Unlimited refills. It's also very convenient to go out in the town. When you walk out, you will see Yang Liping's Sun Palace, and on the other side is Nanzhao Fengqing Island.

GGuest UserWe rented the Garden Deluxe Room, with a mountain view. We find the description and pictures were accurately advertised, and the service was impeccable. We were very pleased with our rental, as it was private, clean and orderly. The hotel is conveniently located within the Dali Ancient Town, close to Biai Road and Renmin Road intersection (see picture of map). The morning and night views from the terrace were stunning. The Dali Ancient Town is as lively as you would imagine, with tons of food and shopping options. Our experience in Dali was awesome, with it's majestic mountains, beautiful lake, vibrant towns and peaceful villages.
However, the best part of this stay was our interactions with the hotel owners, who are a lovely couple. They are good people - very kind, helpful and approachable. Although we had to use an English to Mandarin translation app for most of our conversations, they were patient and made recommendations that we really enjoyed. They helped us book a tour of Erhai Lake and we had a wonderful time sightseeing with the bus tour company (highly recommended if you don't know where to start exploring). We also took their scooter bike to explore the Three Pagodas on our own and drove around the lake afterwards. Please consider renting their scooter bike, as it was super fun and the price is very affordable. As language is a barrier for us, they not only helped us book our ride to Lijiang, but they also gave us a hotel recommendation, which their son runs. To us, they are very trustworthy, so we're sure we will have another pleasant stay in Lijiang.
After all, it's not how clean the hotel is, or how beautiful the surroundings are, it's the people we meet along the way that makes it a wonderul trip experience. If there is another hotel rating for overall hotel experience, it would be a 10/5 for us. The owners definitely made our short stay very comfortable and our adventures amazing - thank you so much! We would definitely come back to this hotel if we are in this area again!
