GGuest UserThis is my seventh time in Dali, and it's the best hotel I've stayed in out of five! First off, the room layout was exactly to my liking. I could lie in bed and watch the sunrise over Erhai Lake, and there was a sofa area, a round dining table, and a large bathtub by the floor-to-ceiling windows – definitely added to the relaxing vacation vibe! The bathroom fixtures were Kohler, and the walk-in closet and vanity area were very spacious. The curtains were automatic, and the AC and curtain controls were right by the bed, which was very convenient. The breakfast was unbeatable – braised chicken wings, braised beef brisket, honey-glazed ribs, and spiced beef. Being able to enjoy a buffet until noon was seriously impressive; I'd call it the ultimate spread. I also have to commend the daily fruit plate and goodnight dessert. Other places only offer it on the first day, but here, I stayed three days and got it every day – incredibly thoughtful. The hotel's front and back yards were also fantastic. My kids loved the slide and swings in the back, and the succulent boat was thriving. The parking lot was also spacious. The nearby ecological corridor had great photo spots, and there were lots of seagulls. When I checked out, I even received a parting gift, and there was a self-service fridge with drinks and beer. A perfect 100-point review, I'll definitely be back!

GGuest UserService was fantastic, the host was superb! Place was clean, convenient, and included all that one could need on a vacation. In the heart of Ancient Dali, this was perfect for food, entertainment, and shopping. It is also minutes away from the famous Cangshan mountain, and the host is very considerate in assisting you with any arrangement you'd like, including cabs for railway and airport transportation.
I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the room matched exactly the photos that are on the site. Very often this is not the case. So, all in all it was a very pleasant experience at this location.
Would definitely stay again and certainly would recommend this to anyone travelling to Dali. As a single female, I found this place to be very safe...especially with a considerate host, who looks out for you!

KKatherineliewtanWe stayed at Lishe seaview resort hotel for 2 nights. The hotel upgraded us to a two-room apartment which I did not expect! The apartment had spectacular view of Erhai in the living room and master bedroom. I had the foresight of having one free and easy day and we pretty much stayed in most of the time to soak in the view. The staff service was amazing. The team reached out to me via trip.com the day before we check in (fantastic initiative) as overseas visitors like me are not familiar with the WeChat usage. When we arrive, the staff were on standby to receive us and bring us to the apartment as we got there via our own driver. The hotel sent nightly desert (white fungus) to our apartment. One important aspect of the hotel is the delicious and wide spread of breakfast. The breaky was on the highest floor offering great views of Erhai, and the lady attendant there was polite, cheerful and has great service. When we checked, the hotel staff came to the apartment and send us to the car. They also presented a farewell bag of goodies - including rose Chinese cakes (which were super delicious!), tea and sweets. It was an awfully thoughtful gesture. I had the rose Chinese cake during breaky and loved them. So I was super happy to find them in the farewell gift. I would strongly recommend a stay here if you are in Dali. Fellow Singaporeans- you would love this place! I think even if I did not get the upgrade, I would have loved the view too. Just keep one day of doing nothing and enjoy the beautiful view and the hotel hospitality. The hotel staff were service oriented, always smiling, polite and helpful. I mean every staff we encountered, even the cleaning staff! This hotel was a great highlight of our Dali stay. I would definitely come back to stay at Lishe when next back to Dali.

HHidefanHad a fantastic stay! The guesthouse is just a few minutes' walk from the South Gate of the old town and not far from the 'station bus' stop to Lijiang – easily walkable even with luggage. It's also on the C2 Old Town bus route; you can flag one down for 2 yuan to get to Cai Village and see Erhai Lake. The guesthouse is located on a street full of restaurants, so dining out was super convenient. The room was spacious and very clean, complete with a smart speaker. The landlady was incredibly nice; we had a bit of a snag and didn't arrive until 11 PM, but both the owner and landlady were waiting for us and even helped with our luggage – truly touching! I'll definitely recommend this place to friends. Excellent value for money, plus a few beautiful photos of Erhai Lake from New Year's Day!

GGuest UserFirst off, the airport pick-up service was a huge relief and really convenient. Secondly, the guesthouse is right on Erhai Lake, perfectly situated between Cai Village and Longkan Pier, making it super easy to get anywhere. Plus, it's relatively quiet at night in this area, which is really pleasant. Lastly, the guesthouse itself is excellent. The service is top-notch, cleanliness is great, and the rooms are quite spacious with good layouts. You can even see Erhai Lake directly from the window!

It gets great natural light, so I barely needed to turn on the lights during the day; the sunlight streaming in was soft and not harsh at all. The bay window area was really practical; sitting there in the morning, soaking up the sun and drinking coffee, was incredibly relaxing. The room was generally clean and tidy, and the bed was very comfortable – I slept soundly all night. The location is right in the heart of Shuanglang Ancient Town, which makes getting around easy, but it's still very quiet at night, ensuring a peaceful stay.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is fantastic – it's really quiet, and right downstairs there's an ecological promenade perfect for cycling. The interior decor is unique and exceptionally clean. There's also a small balcony where you can enjoy the view and soak up the sun. Breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options, and the staff are all warm and attentive. The front desk concierge handles all luggage, and I particularly want to commend Xiao Du, a young Bai man. He was incredibly enthusiastic, giving us great insights into the local culture and customs, as well as nearby tourist attractions. We were so grateful! When we left, he even loaded our luggage into the car, his genuine smile radiating the hospitality and kindness of the Bai people. The hotel's afternoon tea was also delightful, with plenty of choices. The restaurant has a beautiful setting, and you can dine indoors or outdoors, both offering great views. This is truly a place where you can peacefully connect with nature.

AAnonymous UserTraveling to Dali with friends, we stayed at the Guyue-Xianlaidu. The lobby staff were incredibly warm and attentive. Our room was spacious and clean, and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom was very convenient. There's a small balcony right outside where you can enjoy the breeze and the scenery, with the lush Cangshan mountains in the distance and the shimmering Erhai Lake visible from your window. The area around the room is perfect for taking artsy photos – if you love photography, come to Xianlaidu and experience Dali's Santorini...

Worth mentioning:
- the staff contacted us and guided us even before we arrived there, they shared the location for Didi drop off (since cars can’t go through)
- the staff is very helpful — they picked us up and dropped us off to the Didi pickup point and carried our luggage upstairs. They also answered very fast when we asked questions on wechat
- the room is beautiful and the hotel is right in front of the lake
- the room is complete with all amenities
- there are a few halal (qing shen) places nearby and walking distance (the staff told us about this!)
- bike rental is just downstairs, and scooter/snoopy scooter rental is like 500m++ away to the left
- they gifted us rose tea as a souvenir when we checked out
- they let us know we can check in early, right after our room is being cleaned by the cleaner
Things to consider (but not a dealbreaker for me)
- you need to take the stairs to get to the room; might not be suitable if you have elderly traveling with you or you have knees issues
- the walls are not sound proof
- the provided disposable towels; you need to bring yours if you prefer thicker towels
All in all, my experience was so great. The price might be slightly on the higher end, but it’s so worth it.
