GGuest UserThis was a truly comfortable stay with a wonderful atmosphere. The room amenities were high quality, and the facilities were comprehensive, clearly anticipating guests' every need. The hosts and butler provided excellent and polite service. The location is on a small lane, which might be a bit inconvenient for taxis, but that's exactly the quiet spot I was looking for. The guesthouse's cats and dogs are incredibly well-behaved; you can tell they're well-cared for and thriving in such a comfortable environment, all plump and healthy.

GGuest UserThis is my seventh time in Dali, and it's the best hotel I've stayed in out of five! First off, the room layout was exactly to my liking. I could lie in bed and watch the sunrise over Erhai Lake, and there was a sofa area, a round dining table, and a large bathtub by the floor-to-ceiling windows – definitely added to the relaxing vacation vibe! The bathroom fixtures were Kohler, and the walk-in closet and vanity area were very spacious. The curtains were automatic, and the AC and curtain controls were right by the bed, which was very convenient. The breakfast was unbeatable – braised chicken wings, braised beef brisket, honey-glazed ribs, and spiced beef. Being able to enjoy a buffet until noon was seriously impressive; I'd call it the ultimate spread. I also have to commend the daily fruit plate and goodnight dessert. Other places only offer it on the first day, but here, I stayed three days and got it every day – incredibly thoughtful. The hotel's front and back yards were also fantastic. My kids loved the slide and swings in the back, and the succulent boat was thriving. The parking lot was also spacious. The nearby ecological corridor had great photo spots, and there were lots of seagulls. When I checked out, I even received a parting gift, and there was a self-service fridge with drinks and beer. A perfect 100-point review, I'll definitely be back!

XXingyundeO’DonnellWe stayed in the family room with our four-year-old and eleven-month-old babies. It was on the top floor with large windows offering mountain views from multiple angles, which was very pleasant. The guesthouse owner was incredibly welcoming; she met us at the intersection, helped with our luggage, cooked breakfast for us, and responded instantly on WeChat. I have to specifically mention that her fermented tofu was absolutely delicious! The guesthouse's location is also excellent – very close to Foreigner Street on foot, yet it's not noisy; you can't hear any music, and it's quiet every night. There's a convenience store nearby, and right across the street is a local Bai family restaurant. For tie-dye experiences, there are two shops right at the intersection. Overall, the location is super convenient. It was a very satisfying stay.

AAnonymous UserExceeded expectations! The room was fully equipped, comfortable, and luxurious. Staying with my whole family felt just like being at home. The hotel view is superb, with Erhai Lake right in front of you, and the massive windows offer panoramic views of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake! The staff were attentive, detailed, and warm. We immediately decided to extend our stay for another night!
We checked in on New Year's Eve, and we were able to watch the entire drone show and fireworks from the balcony, making for a very happy stay. The kids and seniors all loved it!
Welcome fruit and goodnight desserts were all provided, and breakfast was abundant!

GGuest UserThe room was well-equipped, and the quality was excellent. Stepping out, I found a beautiful garden with perfect lighting during the day, making every photo Instagram-worthy.
The service was top-notch, truly butler-style. They helped with luggage and even collected my takeout, all very thoughtfully and naturally. Breakfast was simple but satisfying, and I could always ask for more. When I was checking out, the owner heard I was driving to Lijiang and specifically recommended taking the Niusha route, suggesting a stop at Shaxi Ancient Town first before heading to Lijiang. The drive was stunning; the scenery in Eryuan was just as beautiful as Erhai Lake, quiet and expansive.
From Shaxi, it was only about an hour's drive to Lijiang, making the whole trip leisurely and unhurried.
I particularly want to thank the owner and staff for making me feel so at home. Oh, and the owner has three super cute cats, which were an unexpected highlight of my trip!

Ssu_explorerI recently stayed here as a solo traveler, and this hotel was the highlight of my trip to Dali.
The hotel is located directly opposite the South Gate of Dali Old Town - truly steps away from the ancient city walls, only 3-4 mins walk yet it's quiet at night. There are also many delicious local eateries all within a 2-minute walk and also foot massage place. After you explore and have tired feet, I highly recommend that place - only 2 mins walk from the hotel. Calling a taxi (DiDi) to any attraction is also very convenient.
The hotel owner is an incredibly kind and genuine person. She made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Even though I speak very little mandarin, they made an effort to speak very slowly for me. The most memorable moment was when she invited me to join her and her friends for a home-cooked dinner at the hotel. As a solo traveler, that gesture of community was truly special and something I can't book on trip.com.
This hotel made my Dali trip unforgettable. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

GGuest UserI was overwhelmed by the sheer number of hotels to choose from, but I'm so glad I picked 'Shanhai Yiyu' among thousands. It was an amazing stay! I've heard that guesthouse hygiene can be a 'blind box' experience, but I felt completely at ease here. On arrival, we received welcome fruit, and in the evening, there was delicious bedtime milk. My parents, who stayed in the other room, were also full of praise. The hotel's location is superb, right in the golden section of the ecological corridor. The view from outside is breathtaking, and you can even see the golden waves of Erhai Lake from your bed. No need to rush to Longkan Pier for sunrise; there's a fantastic viewing spot right downstairs, so you don't even have to get up early. Everything just slows down! Thanks to the staff for their dedicated service; we'll definitely be back. P.S. The drinks and cakes from the downstairs bar are also delicious!

GGuest UserSpent two days in Shuanglang, Dali, and the relaxed, slow pace of life was truly enjoyable. However, it was quite challenging to find palatable food with a lighter flavor profile. Luckily, we stayed at Erhai Xinglai Inn, where they served freshly baked waffles for afternoon tea and homemade rice noodles, porridge, and other nutritious, light, and delicious breakfast options in the mornings. Enjoying the food while gazing at the sea view really helped shed a year's worth of fatigue.
The three owners were especially warm and helpful [strong][strong][strong]! They provided tricycle pickups and drop-offs through the narrow alleys and even generously shared their waffle-making secrets [laughing][laughing][laughing]. The service was top-notch, and the local folk customs were incredibly simple and honest. I accidentally left my wallet somewhere, and half an hour later, it was still exactly where I'd left it, truly embodying the ancient virtue of 'no one picks up lost items on the road' [strong][strong][strong].

AAnonymous UserThe room is very suitable for those who want to enjoy the water and the scenery. The price is not too outrageous. It is a surprise to sit on the roof at dusk to enjoy the scenery. I don't like the commercial area of Shuanglang very much. This one is just near the Sun Palace. I like the small streets there. There are all kinds of food just a few steps away. The brother of the inn will take the initiative to call to help pick up the luggage. It saves lives for those who can't pull the luggage.
