The room is decent. Frontdesk is helpful and kind. They even help to carry my heavy luggage ( upon my request) as the taxi drop off point is 100m away due to a road repair works affecting its normal access. The hotel rooftop balcony is perfect to see the lake and to watch sunrise and sunset. To get good dinner meal options, I still recommend to travel to the ancient town. The durian (Thai and Vietnamese) in dali and Lijiang are the cheapest around in the country that I can find correct at the time and season of travel.

The stay experience on this trip was very good! The room was very clean as soon as I entered the door, the bathroom had no smell, and the details were cleaned in place. The decoration is very new, there is a large floor-to-ceiling window, there is a small table and flowers by the window, it is very suitable for a daze and empty, and the night is very quiet. The landlord was very enthusiastic and picked us up at the intersection in person and took the initiative to share the super practical local attractions guides and the list of food to avoid pits. The room facilities are all available and the use is still new. The location is also very close to the Bohai Sea, the surrounding supermarkets and restaurants are complete, and there is a food street tens of meters away. The price is also beyond expectations.

I highly recommend Yiyun Mountain Residence! It's truly a hidden gem in Dali! We were traveling with elderly family members, so cleanliness and quietness were our top priorities, and this place completely exceeded our expectations. The room was spotless, the bedding and towels were very clean and odor-free, making our stay very reassuring. The environment was quiet and comfortable; we weren't disturbed at all at night. The facilities were complete and functioned well: the air conditioning temperature control was precise, 24-hour hot water was stable, the smart toilet functions were very practical, and the blackout curtains worked wonders, ensuring our seniors slept soundly. I particularly want to praise the view – you can see Cangshan Mountain right from your bed, with an expansive view that even our seniors exclaimed was beautiful. We were worried about our luggage, but the owner had already offered to pick it up at the road intersection. When we arrived, he not only helped us pick it up but personally carried it upstairs, which our seniors greatly appreciated. The proprietress was warm and gentle; knowing we were with elderly family, she specifically upgraded us to a more spacious room and recommended flat, easy routes suitable for seniors. It was absolutely wonderful!
