"The hotel is located in a villa area, very new, and tastefully decorated. It's very quiet. I arrived around 10 AM, and this is my third hotel in Yunnan, and comparatively, it's my favorite.
The room has excellent natural light, and the upstairs terrace is also very comfortable. I came back from watching a stand-up show in Dali Old Town feeling very happy that evening.
Unfortunately, after putting on a disposable pillowcase, I discovered another pillow underneath had a footprint. I took photos and communicated with the butler. Around 11 PM, they came to change the pillowcase. I told them I was too tired and asked for an explanation the next day, and that I didn't want this pillow as it was very off-putting.
I was woken up by the light at 7 AM the next day. The hotel's blackout curtains aren't great. I hope they can improve this quickly. Even with my own steam eye mask, it still felt a bit bright. I ended up adding five or six tissues inside the eye mask and managed to doze off for a little while longer.
The reason I'm leaving this review is because no one followed up on the promise made at 11 PM last night to provide an explanation the next day. I still hope the hotel can improve."
