GGuest UserExcellent value for money. I chose this hotel to stay when passing through Dali this time. I will definitely stay a few more days next time I have the opportunity. The butler service provided by the hotel is really popular. It is very convenient to travel and the service response is very timely. It has the sanitation and hardware conditions of a five-star hotel, as well as considerate and meticulous services. Thanks to the hotel staff for the warm hospitality. Very satisfied!

KKatherineliewtanWe stayed at Lishe seaview resort hotel for 2 nights. The hotel upgraded us to a two-room apartment which I did not expect! The apartment had spectacular view of Erhai in the living room and master bedroom. I had the foresight of having one free and easy day and we pretty much stayed in most of the time to soak in the view. The staff service was amazing. The team reached out to me via trip.com the day before we check in (fantastic initiative) as overseas visitors like me are not familiar with the WeChat usage. When we arrive, the staff were on standby to receive us and bring us to the apartment as we got there via our own driver. The hotel sent nightly desert (white fungus) to our apartment. One important aspect of the hotel is the delicious and wide spread of breakfast. The breaky was on the highest floor offering great views of Erhai, and the lady attendant there was polite, cheerful and has great service. When we checked, the hotel staff came to the apartment and send us to the car. They also presented a farewell bag of goodies - including rose Chinese cakes (which were super delicious!), tea and sweets. It was an awfully thoughtful gesture. I had the rose Chinese cake during breaky and loved them. So I was super happy to find them in the farewell gift. I would strongly recommend a stay here if you are in Dali. Fellow Singaporeans- you would love this place! I think even if I did not get the upgrade, I would have loved the view too. Just keep one day of doing nothing and enjoy the beautiful view and the hotel hospitality. The hotel staff were service oriented, always smiling, polite and helpful. I mean every staff we encountered, even the cleaning staff! This hotel was a great highlight of our Dali stay. I would definitely come back to stay at Lishe when next back to Dali.

Ccoco1921Located near the ancient city, the hotel is just over 600 meters from the Bo'ai Gate, making it convenient to explore the ancient city multiple times a day. The area is lined with restaurants and night market barbecue stalls. The hotel's overall environment is comfortable, with a beautiful and eye-catching koi pond in the lobby. The rooms are well-designed and equipped, with top-of-the-line bathroom facilities including Hansgrohe showers and faucets, and Duravit washbasins. The toiletries are also thoughtfully provided. The rooms are clean and refreshing. The hotel staff are attentive, and the butler service is prompt, patient, and attentive. It's a high-quality hotel in the ancient city area and definitely worth choosing!

11808804****A hotel in Xizhou Ancient Town, with a good location, very close to the parking lot. You can park by the wall in the off-season, which is very convenient. The whole hotel is renovated from a historical old house. The overall layout and rooms feel very old, with many historical relics. The interior of the room is well renovated, very comfortable to live in, hygienic and clean. The staff are polite, greet everyone when entering and leaving, and provide warm and meticulous service.

AAnonymous User1. **Check-in Area:** The check-in counter, or front desk, was quite shabby. The computer keyboard was practically caked in grime, and don't even get me started on the sofa next to it – it looked very unhygienic. 2. **Dining:** The breakfast area was a bit cramped, with just four small tables by the street. If you're a party of more than two, you'd have to sit separately, or you might even have to stand and wait for a table. The coffee, however, was good. I only had breakfast once: a cold quinoa salad (see Photo 6) served with bread that had an overpowering artificial creamer flavor. I had been looking forward to the rice noodles for the next day, but serving didn't start until 8:30 AM, which was far too late for my rumbling stomach. Early risers and those who prefer hot meals should seriously consider other options or make alternative arrangements. 3. **Room (2nd floor) - Noise Issues:** Don't even think about getting any sleep at night. After 11 PM, there was still noise along the street, along with the clanging of the garbage truck. (Seriously, I'd strongly advise against staying in the Old Town.) The next day, it started pouring before dawn, and the sound of the heavy rain kept me awake as well. 4. **Room - Facility Issues:** The room I stayed in was supposedly the quietest in the entire hotel. It featured a large bathtub and a bathroom where the toilet and shower area lacked wet/dry separation. Unable to deal with the wet floor, I decided to shower in the bathtub. That's when I discovered Problem #1: the glass partition was completely transparent, with no curtain or frosted glass. The staff member claimed this was 'design.' Then came Fatal Problem #2: the bathtub had no running water, haha! 😄 5. **Room - Odor Issues:** Upon entering, there was a strong musty smell. The staff claimed it was due to 'raw wood,' but it's been 8 years and it still smells like that? Quite amusing. 6. **Staff (Pre-Check-in):** Before I even checked in, they asked me to cancel my booking on the platform and pay them privately for a discounted rate. I have this in writing. This is definitely a huge red flag, and I'm surprised they even dared to suggest it. 7. **Staff (General):** The individuals themselves were nice enough, but I was surprised to find that all the 'Jixiashan' staff were quite young, without uniforms, and seemingly without direct supervision, which gave a very disorganized and casual impression. 8. **Housekeeping:** I was quite satisfied with the housekeeping. Seeing the clean duvet and towels gave me peace of mind (P.S. the pillows were also comfortable). The hotel's facilities are very old; no matter how clean the bathroom tiles were, they still looked run-down, compounded by the dim lighting. Therefore, I feel the housekeeping staff here really have a tough job. 9. **Building Structure:** One morning, during a heavy downpour, when I opened my 2nd-floor room door, the entrance was essentially flooded up to my heels. It was quite a feat that the water didn't spread into the room. At night, there were no lights, so I had to grope my way back to the room along the dark corridor. It would be quite difficult for someone who doesn't remember their way (see Photos 1-2). 10. **Hotel Amenities:** One night, I heard the guest next door return, unable to open their door with the key, and had to call a staff member for help. They chatted for a bit outside the door before the staff member finally told the guest a 'trick': 'The key needs to be inserted a certain way, and the lock has a particular mechanism...' That's quite a struggle – needing a special technique just to get back to your room! 11. **Minor Details:** The room key had a very large, bulky leather tag attached to it. Absolutely no consideration for travelers on long journeys with limited luggage space. Who would want to carry such a bulky thing around? I originally had high hopes for the 'Jixiashan' brand. When I was in Shangri-La, I heard their Meili store had a collaboration with Kolon, which made me think they had good taste. This Dali Ancient City location is their first store, but it turned out to be such a low standard. Given the daily rate, I guess I understand why. This particular store cannot be found on 'Jixiashan's' mini-program; it's categorized under 'Wang Shenme Chuan Qu Le'.

YYanyulaoshiWhat a pleasant surprise to find this hidden gem of a guesthouse right at the foot of Cangshan Mountain! I was absolutely delighted. First and foremost, the service was impeccable. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and sensed the utmost sincerity. The hosts were incredibly warm and attentive; they answered all our questions, proactively helped with our luggage, and even offered great recommendations for local attractions and activities. They treated us like old friends, making our stay incredibly comfortable and pleasant. The cleanliness was absolutely top-notch. Our room was spotless, every corner meticulously cleaned, and the bedding was fresh and comfortable. We felt completely at ease staying here. My favorite part, however, was their garden – it's truly a dream! The flowers and plants were immaculately trimmed, and from the courtyard, you can enjoy stunning views of Cangshan Mountain. Basking in the sun with a cup of tea, you can instantly feel the pace of life slow down. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing place to stay at the foot of Cangshan Mountain.

GGuest UserMy friend recommended this hotel for my trip to Dali. After checking various reviews, I decided to give it a try. I later found that compared to other hotels nearby, this one offered the best value for money. Since all hotels along this stretch are just across the road from Erhai Lake, and everyone comes primarily to see the lake, this was the most affordable option. Although I couldn't secure a sea-view room with a balcony, simply stepping out of the room or the hotel to see Erhai Lake and feel the cool breeze was absolutely fantastic. It's also conveniently located near most of the popular tourist attractions and photo spots! The second-floor pool also boasts sea views. The service here was excellent; upon entering the lobby, I was warmly introduced to the hotel's facilities and complimentary breakfast, after which they helped guide me and carry my luggage to my room. The room was clean and hygienic, and I particularly enjoyed the comforting fragrance that filled the cozy space (a personal touch I really appreciated). Next time I visit, I'll definitely try to book a sea-view room with a balcony!

GGuest UserWhat a truly beautiful guesthouse! It features a lovely, spacious yard, and even has a friendly dog and cat. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside, sipping tea and taking in the scenery. The only small drawback was the mosquitoes, but apart from that, our stay was absolutely delightful.

MM230846****Overall, I'm very satisfied with this hotel. First, I have to commend the service: the front desk proactively contacted us about parking issues for self-driving guests, as there are traffic restrictions in the ancient city. But a bellboy came to pick up our luggage, which was very convenient. Upon arrival at the front desk, there were drinks available, both hot and cold. Second, the location is excellent; it's right on the pedestrian street, and there's a popular influencer restaurant next door. The room was clean and the staff (the 'dajie') were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast rice noodles were also delicious. This hotel was a fantastic first stop in Dali, and it's very photogenic. I heard the owner personally designed it, which is impressive!

GGuest UserOne day in Haidong, as if living in a picture frame I stayed in Kunming for two days on the weekend to escape from work Originally, I planned to stay in Haixi for two nights. By coincidence, I had dinner with an old friend at this hotel. I was shocked by the sunset in the restaurant. The key is that such a beautiful restaurant tastes good, so I decisively checked out of the room in Haixi and decided to stay immediately I booked a family room. The room is very large and the bed is super comfortable. The room is in a single-family villa with a large and beautiful terrace garden for taking pictures and watching the sea. There is also a function area downstairs where you can cook and play mahjong. It is very suitable for families or sisters to travel together The afternoon tea served in the sea view restaurant is also very exquisite. Sitting in the restaurant, you can overlook the 19 peaks and 18 streams of Cangshan Mountain. The unpredictable clouds cover the top of the mountain like snow. After a while, they slowly roll over and coil between the mountains like jade belts. Columns of light pass through the sky like crystals. I sat and watched the clouds for an afternoon, and I felt that I couldn’t see enough.
