Being an exceptionally easy, 2 minute walk from the international terminal means that you're not having to juggle shuttle buses and whatnot. Staff are friendly and attentive, and the rooms have everything you could need for an overnight stay. The whole place feels fresh and new. Highly recommend.

Although breakfast was included, I went to dinner at nine o'clock and there was almost nothing, and no more food such as juice yogurt, no one cleaned the table, so I stopped going to breakfast the next day. The service for dinner was very good.

So clean, comfortable, lovely and full of greeneries with a garden and a little fountain. Good value and a pleasant surprise! Feels like a nice countryside stay but with good bedding, pillows and service.

I didn't stay at the Heritage Hotel in Christchurch, but I thought about staying in Auckland to experience the style of the historical buildings!
