Holiday Inn AUCKLAND AIRPORT by IHG ★★★★
"Transited through Auckland on my way back home and stayed for one night. The hotel isn't too far from the airport; you can take the Yellow Bus or bus route 38 from the airport. The area around the hotel is quite desolate. I bought instant noodles from the vending machine at the hotel. You can purchase Yellow Bus tickets to the airport from the lobby for 8.5 NZD; just scan the QR code on your e-ticket when boarding."
VR Queen Street Hotel & Suites ★★★★
This stay offers stunning views and suites, featuring a lounge, a restaurant, a bar, private parking, and convenient childcare services.
SkyCity Hotel ★★★★
"I arrived from Auckland Airport via the SkyDrive bus. It was about a 2-minute walk from the terminal (I had a lot of luggage). The concierge took my bags, and after I checked in, they were already delivered to my room. The room was thoroughly cleaned, which was great. While it would have been nice to have a few more amenities like a toothbrush, the service was otherwise excellent."
Parkside Hotel & Apartments ★★★★
"Wouldn't allow me to check in with copy of my license kiwi access and birth certificate and never refunded room"
LyLo Auckland ★★★
"Facilities: The showerhead isn't huge, but the water flow is fine and doesn't splash, which is great. The bedding is also good – clean, tidy, and comfortable. The bathroom is a modular unit and even has a TV. Cleanliness: Excellent. Environment: It's quite close to the Sky Tower and even closer to the Intercity bus terminal, making travel very convenient."

Piha Beachstay Accommodation
"Love staying here when we are in Auckland. Beautiful surroundings of the bush and mountain. Lovely space to hang out in. Staff are always welcoming and friendly. Very clean and tidy, great kitchen. Walking distance to the Kitekite falls. Would highly recommend it."
Auckland Rose Park Hotel
"TERRIBLE experience, from the facilities provided, to the price value, to the customer service. Avoid at all costs!"
The Spencer Hotel
"Easy to find and great location if you're on the North Shore, with cafes and restaurants all in walking distance. Amazing view"
Garden Hostel
"The hotel boasts a very convenient downtown location, within 100 to several hundred meters of the train station, ferry terminal, Prince's Pier, yacht center, and Sky Tower, as well as restaurants and cafes. The Garden Hotel is quiet, clean, and free from noise and traffic. The rooms are spacious, the internet is reliable, and people from different countries get along peacefully and communicate well. The hotel offers services in both Chinese and English, and the hotel manager is available to assist at all times. I highly recommend staying here, and it's definitely a place I'll visit again."
The Hotel Britomart Auckland
"Can't beat the location!"
Delamore Lodge
"We had an exceptional stay here. Initially we had trepidation around the price. The personal service from the manager (Anna) was professional & unobtrusive, which we appreciated, as we came to relax. Our room was amazing. We loved the view and the space. We also appreciated the bar fridge & snacks. (Although more snacks would be good!) We felt that the yukkas obscured some of the view in our chalet, but we loved the outlook & the little bunny rabbits (unwelcome as they are in terms of being introduced). The facilities were great! We appreciated being collected and dropped off at the local vineyards etc - that was a nice touch also- thank you. The breakfasts were wonderful (5 star) - and the variety very good. The meal we had one evening there was pleasant, but not overwhelming. We only dined in once, and enjoyed a meal at Mud Bricks the second night which was lovely. Suggest you hire a car and see the island. It’s a lovely place for scenery. All in all we feel it is deserving of 5 star. I really hope the new manager will be as good as the exceptional staff we met - big shoes to fill! What a beautiful place. We will be back."
Cordis, Auckland by Langham Hospitality Group

Mövenpick Hotel Auckland
"H I recently stayed at the Mövenpick Hotel Auckland and wanted to extend a special thank you to the amazing team, especially Moira and Christian Jose. During my stay, the elevators were undergoing maintenance, which could easily have made things inconvenient for guests. Instead, Moira went above and beyond to look after myself and many other guests. She was constantly checking in, offering assistance, giving clear updates, and doing it all with a warm, professional attitude. Her outstanding support truly turned a potentially frustrating situation into a very manageable one. I would also like to thank Christian Jose for his kindness and helpful service throughout my stay. His friendly manner and willingness to help did not go unnoticed and added to the overall positive experience at the hotel. Despite the elevator maintenance, the service from Moira, Christian Jose, and the rest of the team ensured my stay remained comfortable and enjoyable. I highly recommend Mövenpick Hotel Auckland and deeply appreciate the efforts of these staff members."
Airport Gateway Hotel
"["**Version 1 (Short & Sweet):**\nSuper satisfied with our transit stay! The room was spacious, and the bed was incredibly soft – I slept wonderfully. The free airport shuttle was so convenient, a real lifesaver for those with connecting flights or catching an early plane. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit far from the city center; for pure sightseeing, staying downtown would be better. But for a transit stop, this place gets a full recommendation!","**Version 2 (Balanced & Honest):**\nThe overall hotel experience was good. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, and the mattress was soft and comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep after a long flight. The free airport shuttle service was the biggest highlight, saving both hassle and taxi fares. The location is indeed a bit out of the way and far from the city center, so it's not ideal for sightseeing or shopping. However, for a one-night transit stay, it's definitely a top choice and offers great value for money.","**Version 3 (Heartfelt Praise):**\nThis hotel is perfectly suited for an airport layover! The room was big enough, and the bedding was soft, making for a great night's sleep. The best part was the free round-trip airport shuttle – such thoughtful service, no need to fuss with taxis. The location is a bit far from the city center, making it less convenient for tourism, but for catching an early flight or a transit stay, it's truly excellent. Highly recommended for fellow frequent flyers!"]"
Heartland Hotel Auckland Airport
"Enjoyed our stay. Everything from driver -mohammed to front reception staff were very welcoming. Room cleanliness and amenities was superior. Restaurant dining was excellent - great and variable selection - staff attentive but not intrusive. Would highly recommend to others."
Oakwood Manor Motor Lodge
"Staffs were helpful service was good. Location is near to airport. However no restaurants or any convenient store nearby. No breakfast provided as well. So make sure you prepare your own food if you need to eat."
Grand Millennium Auckland
"The room was very comfortable and quite spacious, which was great."
Rendezvous Heritage Hotel Auckland
"I had a very enjoyable stay at Rendezvous Heritage Hotel Auckland. The location is excellent, right in the city center, making it easy to explore nearby attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable bedding and all the essential amenities for a relaxing stay. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made it easy to unwind after a busy day in the city. The hotel facilities were impressive, particularly the indoor and outdoor pools, gym, and sauna, which added extra value to the experience. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help, ensuring a smooth check-in and overall pleasant stay. While the decor may feel slightly dated in some areas, everything was well-kept and functional. Overall, it offers great value for money and is a solid choice for both business and leisure travelers visiting Auckland."
Park Hyatt Auckland
"Facilities: Excellent! The room was spacious and the TV could even swivel. The bathtub was fantastic. Hygiene: The only minor issue was some unknown stains on the sofa. Environment: Beautiful scenery facing the sea. Service: We absolutely loved our Beau dog at the front desk! Hope to see him again next time."
The Maxim Hotel Auckland
"Excellent, with top-notch environment and service."
Airport Manor Inn
"Basic motel room done very well!. Clean, decent comfortable bed, great shower, aircon, quiet, good blackout, nice TV, and close to airport / 2 minutes walk from shops. Exactly what I needed to rest gor a night after a late long haul flight arrival. Nice staff / good communication as well. Definately recommend."
