The location of the hotel is very convenient and there is a parking space available. Suitable for living with children. There are merchants from Taiwanese and Koreans on the side, and it is very convenient to travel. There are also some restaurants, like the famous out of the cage, etc. In short, the location is very good.

Originally through work I was booked a studio room - when I checked in the lady at the front desk was lovely. When I entered my room it smelled strongly of cleaner but unfortunately the bathroom/shower area was still disappointing. There was a lot of mould and grime in the shower area and the grout of the tiles. I couldn't have showered there. When I went back to the front desk to explain, and enquire about another room, I was kindly upgraded to one of the apartments beside the Burger King and had a much more pleasing stay. The apartment was new, sleek, super clean and had beautiful finishings. I would definitely stay in the apartments again. It was near to lots of different eateries, conveniently close to the motorway and a great location.

The location of the Motel is excellent, the parking is convenient, the room facilities are complete, and the hygiene standards are superb (see the bottom of the bed and the bathroom). Even the direction of the handle of the water glass is uniformly pointed. In the Motel and five-star hotel apartments we have experienced Rare

Friendly mellow quiet atmosphere set in nature. Hygiene standards need to be drastically improved. Bathrooms ok. The guest kitchen stank, was never cleaned the 4 nights I was there. It was extremely filthy when I arrived and left. The main lounge area syank of dead animal. I kid you not. While sitting waiting for my taxi, staff or volunteers ? rearranged furniture with no consideration for me or another guest. We were make to feel we, THE GUESTS, were in the way. Amusing because the end result was worse than the original furniture arrangement ie the coffe table was out of guests reach while sitting on sofa. Rooms are spartan and basic and what I would have expected for $55 a night. Bed was comfortable. Room needed far more wall hooks and shelves for storage. When I arrived the handle and locking mechanism on the one and only door was loose and fell off completely!!!! Leonne, the receptionist, was always very helpful and moved me to a larger room with a secure door lock. She deserves a lot of credit and perks. She is an outstanding worker. Beware - the wonderful very large pools are treated with copper sulphate which tastes bad and leaves a film on teeth. The 2nd time I swam there I almost felt nauscious. Was warned to rinse off because copper sulphate will leave a light green tint on blonde hair. Highly recommend Lindee the massage therapist. Lovely friendly, very nuturing and skilled. Isaac the barrista is friendly and makes great juices. Truly a mixed review!

I was disappointed in my stay at this hotel. While it’s location is convenient to many things it’s nearly impossible to find parking nearby. There is a small amount of parking in the basement but not enough for even a small fraction of total guests. Finding street parking in this area is a nightmare especially while local schools are in session. Our room was small but otherwise okay. Sadly the shower in our bathroom was very difficult to use without flooding the entire place. Some glass partitions or better fitting shower curtains were definitively needed. Our stay was also disrupted by ongoing construction noise from an adjacent building site. Not the hotel’s fault but annoying nonetheless. This facility clearly has a marketing deal with nearby Goodside. Goodside was hyped as ”an exquisite collection of Auckland’s finest boutique food and beverage restaurants - one of Auckland’s more delectable dining destinations.” So based on the hotel’s recommendation we braved the rain and went to check it out. It was neither delectable or even open in most cases. The best thing on offer was a Subway franchise. Some of the restaurants may have been open during the day but the place was dead in the evening. We were literally the only potential customers in the place. I don’t expect Goodside will survive much longer and I certainly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I also think it’s bad form that Quest endorsed it so favorably.

The hotel is in a good location, with Subway, Chinese restaurants nearby, and a 15-minute walk from a large supermarket and a Chinese supermarket The sanitation of the hotel is very good and the service is also very good. There is now a construction site next to the hotel, but fortunately, construction is only around 9 in the morning. The hotel has triple rooms, and you can also choose standard rooms with extra beds.
